Grab your food at the stand and eat at the nearby picnic tables. Not inexpensive, but we enjoyed our tacos, iced turkish coffee, with sounds of the surf and views of the water. We also tasted the Kale-Dilla and thought it was tasty too! Parking...is tricky to find in this area, and the restaurant doesn't have designated parking. There were lots of families with small children. The restaurant has some wooden blocks and a little chalk easel to play with. Big surfing area, so it was fun to go watch.More

Get away from the crowds and enjoy great food at a great price. Best Chai in Santa Cruz, great breakfast tacos and lunch options. Something for everyone; including great doggy treats.

This little cafe is very good. The service is friendly and has a good beach vibe. The food is surprisingly delicious and wholesome. They have a very good assortment of choices and use local ingredients. The portions are medium in size. The prices are fair,...for it being in a tourist location. They offer some nice picnic benches to eat at. The scenery is beautiful of the nature preserve and it is just next to the light house as well : ) Have it to go and enjoy it on one of the many benches along West Cliff, with stunning views!! They also practice good COVID standards! Recommended!!More

Was visiting the Lighthouse and beach on our Santa Cruz stop. Last night we were reading about the area and the article mentioned this place. I kept joking that I was getting a coffee. The family thought I was crazy. But I wasn’t. As the...hubby was visiting the surfing museum, we went down to use restrooms and low and behold was Steamers. We had a cold brew Turkish coffee and Almonds and Dates. And it was what dreams are made of. The cold brew was very tasty with just enough spice and we remembered how much we love dates. When the hubby walked up, I smiled and held out my cup. And all he said was “You got your coffee.”More

Walking along the cliff is an awesome treat for the eyes. Stopping at Steamer Lane Supply is an awesome treat for the taste buds. Cool local vibe - although there are a lot of walk ins like us. But the staff keeps the vibe young...and fresh. The food options are diverse and we were able to feed kids to picky adults! We even bought a hat for our younger daughter. Awesome stop!More

If you’re out walking or cycling north of Santa Cruz, this is near the surf museum and well worth finding. Out back of a facilities block, it has a small shop front but offers reasonably priced freshly prepared sandwiches, qesadillas , cakes and coffee etc....Nice outside seating area making use of the trees and within a few yards of benches overlooking the sea.More

What a wonderful spot for coffee or even a quick lunch. Steamers Lane a local surfing area is right across the street and the Lighthouse is also across the street. And to the rear is a nice walking path. The coffee is good. The pastries...locally made. And the sandwiches & quesadillas made right there while you wait. Sitting outside by the ocean, people watching was so enjoyable.More

I have passed this location while biking the path along the ocean and have not seen it! You might have missed it, too! On my long slow walk, I spotted the sign on the sidewalk advertising "Real food". I had an egg/bacon tart of some...sort. It was the size of a small muffin. So take an egg, add cheese and spices, wrap bacon around the edge to hold it all together and that was my awesome two bite super snack! Maybe I should have taken three bites. I washed it down with an "agua Fresca" ginger lemon turmeric concoction. This was super refreshing. The place also sells ice creams, bottled drinks, coffee, other real food, and beach supplies! There are cafe tables and some large relaxing lounge chairs outside. Look for the signs on the street.More

This is a small set-up with attached food truck. We had fish tacos which were wonderful. Minimal everything, few chairs, but, goodness, the food!
