Amazing! This is such a gem. We were a party of 5 and we wanted to try lots of dishes so they arranged for our dinner to be served family style. Everything we tried was great - lots of flavors coming through. The chicken and...okra stew was so good - probably my favorite. Loved the meatballs and plantains as well. You really can’t go wrong here!More

Gem!

I found this place for a group of my friends before going to Escape Room LA and we were delighted! The owner came over to talk with us soon after we were seated and she was lovely. The waiters were friendly, the service and atmosphere...great and the food was surprisingly good. We all agreed that we have to go back, and it is a bit of a trek for us to get there:)More

Delicious food, charming space and friendly service

We had the grilled fish and the grilled beef, both of which come with rice, beans, farofa, plantains, collard greens and salsa. I've traveled in Brazil extensively (7 trips), and Woodspoon does everything very authentic and super delicious. Reminiscent of one of the really nice...places in Santa Teresa. The red and white sangria were also yummy. Dinner for two including the two drinks and a 25% tip under $80. Highly recommend.More

As a courier I was offered a portion of coxinha

Nathalia, the owner and chef, is such a warm-hearted woman. I went the for the first to that restaurant, and it was as a courier. You can see her from the counter, so I told her I am Brazilian. We had a small conversation and...while I was waiting for the food to carry-out, she offered me coxinha, a specialty of her restaurant. And it was delicious. The food servers are very polite and friendly, the interior design is refined, as the owner, and with a touch of Art Nouveau.More

Hard to find and so tasty!

Small spacethat’s kinda hard to find but so worth it. Excellent for pre show anywhere downtown. Cozy, funky and friendly. Tables are reasonably spaced for such a cozy place Not your standard loud eat to excess Brazilian style eatery. Feels more like a friend’s house...and homecoming. Great service with staff that knows the food.More

Cozy little restaurant

The restaurant is tiny but super cute and it's worth some minutes waiting. The food is amazing (we've tasted chicken hot pie, beans, fish..) as well as sangrias! The staff make you feel home! Two thumbs up!!

Good food in a tiny restaurant

A special dinner with our daughter who lives across the country. I had a hard time choosing from the menu that had several dished that sounded right up my alley. Oh well, next time. Good food, good service, not too noisy.

Definitely put this on your list

We went pre-theater, so not too crowded, but this tiny place filled up while we were there. GREAT food, very reasonable prices. We will be back!

Great find in Downtown Los Angeles

What a surprise to find this boutique restaurant downtown. The atmosphere is bohemian, in a positive way. The food, Brazilian cuisine, was excellent! No bar. Service friendly and timely. Not rushed at all. Diners were friendly as well. Overall a real find! Will definitely be...returning there.pMore
