Great coffee and food! Love dining area outside. One of the few places who span breakfast, lunch and bar in one great space. Too bad that after one hour, parking is $10 dollars going up to $20 after two hours. It was a horrible experience...More

We enjoyed our dinner. Small plates (not so small actually) served for sharing at your table. The pretzel bread with beer sauce was excellent. The brussel spouts were very good. And the service was outstanding. I recommend Rose Cafe. For a table of 3 to...More

We got here at 8am, jet lagged with 3 kids and the brunch was a quasi religious experience of joy. The chicken and biscuits and gravy was beyond words and the breakfast burrito also an amazing dish. Can not recommend highly enough.

This was so nice that we came back here twice. The people were all friendly (staff and customers), and the food was certainly good (and not pricey). Easy parking. What more could you ask for.

Nice restaurant, nice staff and so on, but food was too salty and over priced. Pasta with pepper and cheese, 20$, too much. Also wine was expensive.

In the 1980's I lived in Venice Beach, and would ride my bicycle along the strand every day from Venice to Hermosa Beach and back. At the end of the ride, I would stop off at The Rose Cafe, for pie and coffee. It was...More

Grabbed some gorgeous pastries here on the way to a friend's house. Loved the ambiance. Rose Cafe is the essence of LA-- beautiful setting, working breakfasts, customers huddled over laptops, snooty servers and baristas. Next time I will plan to stay longer. Challenge to find...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the
epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along
the boardwalk there are street performers and local
craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings,
souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of
visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting
enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders
do their tricks around the skate park. All of it
