We did some dinner here, afterward we took some beers and cocktails on the bar. The bar closes early in the evening, so we needed to find another place.
The food was good, and the service was also good. There was a short waiting time for entering the restaurant, but it was worth the wait. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself looks very cozy from the inside.
If you order a beer from the tap, you will get a big glass. It's amazing!
Parking your car is not free, you need to pay for the parking lot nearby. It's just a short walk of 2 minutes from the parking lot to the grille.

Online Menu Not Accurate
Entree menu says choice of baked potato, fres veggies, or rice. When I called in my takout order, they said that since the pandemic they only offer mashed potatoes or french fries with veggies. Pandemic has been going on for over two years - they could have easily updated the online menu. Also, their prices appear to have just about doubled since last year. For two salmon dinners with a $10 tip, price was $78.

Husband and I stopped on our loop around Lake Tahoe per reviews (which I’m big on). I got the chicken sandwich with avocado and two thin slices of chicken wet placed to make believe a thick breast of chicken. My husband got the blackened salmon and specified to not be over cooked and it was. Disappointed.
Our waiter was great though, we had to leave on an emergency and he was great to get me boxes and the check to leave.
If ever in the area, though view was great, good and margaritas were very disappointing.

My family has an excellent meal at Jasons. I enjoyed my French onion soup and California chicken sandwich, my wife really liked her sandwich. My oldest boy loved his chicken tenders and my youngest said it was the best burger he ever had. An enjoyable evening for our first night in the area

The view of the lake from the deck was nice. Had the French dip sandwich & fries; it was kinda meh. I ate half & gave the rest to my dog. My wife had the French onion soup & a salad; she enjoyed them both. My wife said the waitress looked disappointed after hearing her order. I asked my wife if I looked just as disappointed after the first bite of my French dip.

The food was delicious and we specially enjoyed the walk on the beach after our meal. The children ate all their food and they even ordered a virgin pina colada. On our second day we regretted not coming back here and tried a different restaurant. Next time we are back in town this is the only place we are willing to try. Our waitress is very attentive. The cost was average and definitely worth it!

NO DOGS WELCOME ON PATIO! We research our trips well in advance to ensure our canine pal is welcome. We do not try to take him where he is not welcome. We read many reviews about patio dining at Jason’s , sounded perfect for us. Upon arrival we were informed the only area available for dogs is a small dirt area where they only serve drinks and a couple appetizers, no dinner. The large deck where they server dinner is off limits to dogs. I was really looking forward to the artichoke and ribs.

7:30pm or so on a Wednesday had to wait 35 minutes for a table outside. But there are picnic tables and an outdoor bar so not a problem as long as you don’t have hungry kids. I had the King Margarita which was very spicy (works for me). Wife had the Mojito. Both great. For dinner I had the steak sandwich which was perfect—well seasoned, tender enough to bite through, great bread. Also had what might be the best onion rings I’ve ever had. Wife had the ribs—falling off the bone and tasty—and the artichoke which was very good. I think there were some mosquitoes around. It’s not on the water so much. A parking lot between them. It’s surrounded by trees. Not fancy in the least. Wry popular. We’ll be back.

We were looking for a great lunch with a lake view and found it at Jason’s. We had the french onion soup to start and the Prime Rib dip sandwich with fries. The soup was very flavorful and had a lovely cheese topping. We ordered the Prime Rib sandwich with swiss cheese as recommended by out great waitress and she was absolutely right. Excellent sandwich! Even the Long Island tea was top notch! Highly recommend Jason’s - we’ll be back!

First, I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and will probably keep coming whenever I’m in Tahoe. However, quality seems to have gone downhill recently while prices have gone up. Everything was fine with our meal - it’s just a little overpriced for what you get. I got the prime rib dip and it was somewhat lacking in meat. The patio right on the beach is nice. Service was just ok - we had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though the patio was half empty. I guess that was better than the first time we tried to go there this week - we called and were told “no wait” and then when we got there 15 minutes later we were told they weren’t seating any other tables for the night (about half an hour before closing). Not a lot of options for people with allergies. Again, it’s good, just not as good as it used to be.

This was recommended to us by a friend who frequents the area. The day was cold so no one was dining outside on the patio, which is what draws many to this place. Inside the facility is somewhat dark, a little noisy. Service was very attentive. Not a huge selection of meals. The portions are very generous. Burgers are very large, French fries are very good. French dip sandwich was superb. Family friendly. Reasonable prices.

Food was really good! The wait on a Saturday night was not bad at all. The prices were better than we expected.
But the Service was Old-School great!
Tyler (19, I think), surprised us when we were expecting just some guy bringing food. Nope, very personable! We watched him work his tables and not the fake smooze stuff, but was really engaging with each group individually. Gave great recommendations and really added to the whole experience.

Lunch with hubby
Split a Reuban sandwich on the patio. $2 charge to split was ok with us.
Food - very good
Atmosphere - great and relaxing Beautiful view of lake and snow capped mountains in a clear June day. Every table has an umbrella.

We used to love eating at Jason's pe-covid. We visited June 2021 and decided to have dinner there. The menu was half of what it usually is. There were no dinner salads on the menu, so we ordered a caprese salad to share. It wasn't very big and it cost $9.95. My husband had a steak sandwich which had a lot of fat on it. I ordered the Mac and Cheese dish for $9.95, and the bowl was so small! I walked away hungry. After spending $50 and having a poor meal, we will not be returning.

Our sever, Max, was friendly and knew the menu well. The view of the lake is fantastic- snow topped mountains in the background . If you come, definitely sit on the porch. I had the Ruben . Im pretty much Ruben aficionado. This may have been the best Ruben I’ve ever had. The sauerkraut and sauce are homemade - cudos . Highly recommend.
