First visit and it exceeded expectations. Beautiful location on Lake Tahoe.
Pizza was top notch!
Started with Baked Brussel sprouts which came piping hot in a cast iron dish. Super fresh and tasty.
Ordered an Italian Sausage and Mushroom pizza. Pizza dough was excellent. I’ve had pizza in Italy, and this delicate dough is just as good.
I could smell the freshness of the mushrooms as I took my first bite of pizza. Bravo! I feel like much of the menu is gourmet level.
Add in excellent service from Maria and it was a perfect meal!
I’ve had a house in Crystal Bay for 20 years and I’m excited to add this to my rotation of favorite spots!

Fabulous rooftop bar area. Food is fantastic! Freshmade pizza to order. Full bar with beer, wine & cocktails. Excellent service! This spot is not to be missed when visiting King's Beach area. We kayaked and then grabbed lunch before taking a drive around the west side of the lake, stopping at many scenic overlooks & viewing many waterfalls. Spectacular day!

Multiple families vacationing together. Stopped in for lunch and beers on tap. Everyone from the hostess station to the bartender to the outdoor dining server was genuinely friendly and appreciative of their customers. Pizza was excellent! Definitely recommend.

Many things are great, for example MLK, cheese, and especially, jesus christ. I can not explain how much all of these three things (if they could speak) would be disappointed in whitecaps pizza service. We had good pizza it is true, however, it was it worth it? Ask yourself this, are you willing to get misunderstood, cheated, disrespected? Good luck.

went to dinner there on Monday night the 21st of June and after seated they took our drink order and appetizer after about 15 minutes our appetizers came out with no drinks yet they did promptly bring them out after that though . When our waitress took our order I was the last one to order and I asked about one of the pizzas and the waitress asked me if I could hurry up because she was really busy. I ordered the meat lovers with jalapeños on it. Mine was the last pizza to come out and the jalapeños were not cooked and looked like they had been just put on. When leaving i stopped to talk with the manager and told her what the waitress said and she told me that that didn't happen there? I then told her about the pizza and she told me that I ordered the jalapeños on the side and? So when I showed her the pizza I asked where the container was? BAD EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF. By the way I have been coming to Kings Beach since 1980 not sure i will be back to white caps again though.

I don't like pizza but I eat it because my husband really likes it. I was so surprised by this place - they had the best selection of pizzas I've ever seen. We ordered 4 pizzas for 2 adults and 2 tweens!! Our favorite was the kale, sausage, feta and lemon pizza, but they were all delicious. (We had the pesto and artichoke, the napolitana and meat lover as well.) The crusts were perfectly crispy on the outside, but soft inside, not doughy. Super nice server as well. Truly the best pizza I've ever had. I would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

We ordered the American Classic (sm) pizza with two Corona beers about $34. It's pizza... good but kinda soggy in the center. Still good. I would have given it only 3, but because of the area you can eat on the sand I gave it 4. People very nice.

Food great, location perfect, company diverse, view from the deck relaxing. True gem in King’s Beach.
Good mix of locals and residents. Gets busy as the day activities come to an end. Staff was helpful and kind.
Definite must do if you are looking for a good meal and relaxed atmosphere after a day at the beach, exploring on the lake, or coming off the trail.

So good, we ate here twice! We came for lunch on our first day and ate inside. The second time we came was in the evening and sat outside under the white lights by the lake. The broccolini pizza, caramelized onion pizza, and meat lovers pizza were all excellent. The Caesar salad was also delicious. If there is a wait for outside, I’d wait…enjoy your surroundings and enjoy some delicious pizza in Lake Tahoe!

My family and I ate at this place at a friend’s recommendation recently. We had the gluten-free veggie pizza, the BBQ chicken pizza, the olives appetizer and a couple of beers. Everything was OK, not great, not terrible. A little overpriced. They had a good selection of microbrews.

Great pizza and pesto “chips” (more like flatbread) - awesome gluten free crust option available. Was able to order online and pick up to go. Their patio was also available.

My son and I stopped in for a pizza & beer lunch and were not disappointed. With not much snow this Winter, the view looking out to Lake Tahoe was beautiful, too. We had a mushroom pizza with bacon added and it was really delish! Would def return for more!

Our boat captain recommended Whitecaps (thanks Dean!) when we were trying to find someplace for our family to eat without reservations after a day on the lake. SO glad he did. We had to park in the public beach lot (one hour free) but we found a table beachside and waited in line for our pizza and wine. It was, as Dean said, the BEST pizza in Tahoe. Everyone loved it and we ate every last bite. Nice to get some good wine too and enjoy the parasailers and the view while the kids played in the sand. We will definitely return!

Oh my gosh the vibe was awesome, the service was on point and the pizza was delicious!!! We had sweet potatoes soup and pizza with honey drizzled on top! The crust was authentic. The only downside is I couldn’t get the recipes. Will be back after skiing at northstar! So glad we found this and will be going again soon.

Wanted some pizza for lunch and came across Whitecaps. Best stop so far for a meal. The place is lake front and had a great outside area to sit. The pizza, meatball sub and wedge salad was awesome!!! Our server was Domino who made the meal fun. Ask for him it will make your day.
