Extremely nice restaurant. Varied menu with something for everyone. Although it seats many customers, it was very full at 7 on a Sunday evening.

What a delicious huge dinner we had on our first visit to a Maggiano’s Little Italy. The food was superb, the wine, very tasty & exceptional service from the lovely Kayla. We chose the chicken or Sean & chicken Francese & both were massive but...so tasty. Really enjoyed our dinner & will certainly return before we leave the OC in a couple of daysMore
Great service, and amazing made from scratch food! Pasta was fresh, sauce was flavourful. The mozzarella marinara was fabulous.
We held our mom's 90th birthday party at Maggiano's in Costa Mesa and it was wonderful. The food is delicious but more importantly, the staff was truly exceptional!!! From the moment we arrived prior to the time of the event to set up a few...personal touches, the waitstaff was present, introduced themselves and immediately began asking us what we needed. Marie is wonderful, a joy to work with and adapted to anything that was requested. Jose and the other two gentlemen (sorry, I forget their names) were on top of everything. If your beverage got low, another appeared. If someone asked for more of something, it appeared. The service was perfection and I learned that a guest asked for a special entree' since they had dietary restrictions and were immediately provided with exactly what they wanted. This was an event of 80 people and for the Maggiano staff to go above and beyond as they did was extraordinary! They left everyone at the event very impressed and the birthday girl delighted! Thank you so much for an amazing afternoon and a lifelong memory!More
We were at a private party of maybe 50 people. One star off for the head table not getting their bowl of spinach. We did not know that until we realized much later that other tables had a bowl of spinach, while we only had...a smidgen on the salmon dish. It was all served family-style, so people ate what they wanted, and the rest was taken home in boxes, which served as leftovers the following evening. The salmon was said to be great, while the beef was tender and delicious. The potatoes were special. The desserts were fine, supposedly, as I do not eat tiramisu, but the Italian native was taking some home to her mom, so that was a great accolade. We had the apple dish which went fastest.More
We have been coming to this establishment for quite sometime now, we love the staffs and the management team, friendly and courteous with excellent services, we love many of the dishes on the menus, so much to choose from as our family like to enjoy...a variety of pastas / salads / especially the desert selection, we also love the bar menus, happy hours are alway a must for us prior to our dining, love, love, love @MaggianoMore
Let me start by saying the staff are AMAZING! Super friendly, fun banter & awesome dining recommendations compliments of both Charles & Josh behind the bar. They are both super friendly & fun to connect with! I tried their new cocktail called at tiramisu martini...and can only tell you that is probably one of the most delicious martinis I’ve ever had in my life…! As someone who travels every week and dines out a ton, this is probably the best martini blend I’ve ever had! you folks MUST try it. I was suggested to try one of their two flatbreads as an appetizer, and it two was out of this world absolutely delicious, noting very, very thin crust, fresh tomatoes, fresh, cilantro, and delicious tomato sauce, and sausage! My rigatoni Arrabiata was without question one of the best Arrabiata pasta, as I’ve ever had in my life as well…! This is a must visit restaurant! Yummm yummm yummm ! 😊👍😋😋😋More
Traditional New York style Italian food. Menu items are standard and popular fare. Solid food, very good portions.
I take my sister here every year for her birthday and it is always wonderful but this year thanks to Mark, our server, we had the best time ever! His suggestions were spot on. We had wonderful zucchini appetizer, Caesar salads, best lasagna ever and...an amazing warm apple tart like dessert with vanilla ice cream. We never had to look for Mark because he anticipated our every need. He presented her with the beautiful plate of half moon lemon cookies with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate. His wonderful charm and wit really made it so special! Can’t wait till next year! The Hodges sisters!More
We had 3 couples that are dinner at this restaurant on January 1 2022. Our first waitress was Bailey. Bailey provided excellent service. We don't know what happened, however about 2/3 rds through our dining experience Bailey had to go somewhere else and Anthony became...our waiter. Anthony turned out to be a real jerk. When we ordered desert we discussed several options and decided to order butter cake and chocolate cake. We had discussed cream burlee, however settled on chocolate and butter cake. When Anthony came back with chocolate cake and cream burlee we advised Anthony of the mistake. At this point Anthony yelled at us and explained that he was correct and the six of us were wrong. Our dinning experience was deffinately deminished from that point on. The food was wonderful and I would dine at this establishment again, however I would refuse to let Anthony serve me again.More
Recommended to this restaurant and we were very pleased with our dinner. Our reservation made well in advance, good thing as this Saturday night it was a long wait if not. We had a reservation and still had to wait 15 additional minutes, but it...was okay. I went up to check and the older gentleman at the host station took care of us right away. He was wonderful. Sat us at a wonderful booth. Our server was on her game. Everything went perfectly. Nice bread and oil/balsamic to start. Salads were so fresh. My husband enjoyed the lasagne entree and my chicken piccata was okay, but the chicken was very thin and seemed chewy. Tiramisu to share was great too. It is a chain and had a good sense of all the staff working together.More
Excellent food and service! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and was full for a day after eating here. Will be back next time I am in Costa Mesa.
Went here for two different large parties with 12–20 people each time. The atmosphere is inviting and clean, the servers are wonderful, and everything is flavorful and satisfying. This is a very dependable restaurant that isn't likely to disappoint. I personally reocmmend the Shrimp Fra...Diavolo.More

Great place to go with friends, a wedding dinner or even a date night. Food and service is always great and never any issues. Depending on which meal you order there is always a second one to go which is nice. If you just have...left overs then they will box up for you and even add more sauce if you ask. Very good place to eat.More
