What a find - this eatery offers good coffee, tasty cakes and really scrumptious light lunches. The food is good value and the bonus of the next door farm stall is that you can take some of their baking home with you. Recommended.

I stopped in at this establishment on the way to Bonnievale from Stellenbosch, mid morning around 09:30, hoping to get a decent cup of coffee as take-away for my journey ahead. When spotting the professional grade coffee machine I was hopeful. What I was served next (and I don't say this with any highbrow intentions or expectations) must be the... More

We popped in quickly to see what they stocked and was pleasantly surprised by their range of homemade products. They had warm fresh oven baked bread, loads of fresh and frozen meats and a variety fresh vegetables. Many of the products were cheaper than a chain supermarket which is how a pantry / farm stall should be. Will definitely be... More

Huge portions of excellent breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, homemade bread and jams. Lovely seating indoors or outdoors.

The location, on what was a fairly busy road the day we visited, and the "down to earth" name had us both curious and undecided as to whether to go in. The Potbelly had a well priced and tasty, simple menu. Service was attentive and very friendly! We also enjoyed the adjacent deli. All round, we were pleasantly surprised by... More

We have driven past this outlet on so many occasions, but just never stopped to see the place. A few Sundays ago, we decided to pop in for a bite. What a busy, interesting and pleasantly surprising little spot it is - ideal for a casual lunch. My husband had one of their homemade pies which was served with trimmings... More

We stopped in for our usual fix of fresh farm products from the shop next door, including their legendary Bacon Biltong. We decided to eat at the restaurant since it was lunch time. They have a great wholesome menu with pies and good old fashioned farm food. The portions are well sized and come with a fresh salad side. Pricing... More

We had breakfast here. The menu is a little limited ad there is no farmstyle or English breakfast option. The quality is good though but service is a little slow. The attached shop is a great spot for some grocery and gift shopping.

With a few minutes to spare we decided to stop at this spot for coffee and a snack. We were welcomed by the chef/owner and the offering of delicious range of cakes was explained. We opted for a marmite and biltong muffin. A really good option.

Padstal tipe deli, but wide selection meats. Fresh vegetables at good prices. Restaurant was clean and food was good. Not a big place but choice of inside or outside on the stoep. A worthwhile stop on your route to wellington or stellenbosch
