Me and my girlfriend stumbled across this place for breakfast one morning. Little did we know we would get breakfast there everyday for our stay in plakias. The breakfast was great I got the English breakfast a lot it was superb. The view was so...spectacular to be able to see the ocean and the rocky cliffs on the other side of the bay made the breakfast that much more enjoyable. And then not to mention the excellent staff who always greeted us with a smile. When it was my last breakfast here I got quite sad it would be my last time eating here. Anyway enough of my experience, why not go down to this cafe/bar during your next stay at plakias.More

The hospitality of Sharon and her team was brilliant, we visited regularly and can highly recommend them, the menu choices are lovely and can highly recommend pancakes

Run by an English lady. Best Croissants so far. Good tea. Nice breakfast. On the beachfront. Very nice service. wonderful view

We visited here both in the day and also at night. At night you can go upstairs and watch the world go by whilst listening to music. It wasn't 'drum and bass' but easy listening music from 80's 90' 00's etc. In the day we...managed to watch the F1 which was being shown, all in all a friendly place with a nice vibe both in the day and at night. We are not people you will find in a bar a lot, but when we are in Plakias we always go to Ostraco for breakfast a few times during our stay. Very nice people and it's a beautiful place at the beach with a nice...view to the harbor. And the breakfast is perfect.More

I've been coming to Plakias for over thirty years and still love its charm and peaceful surroundings, there are some lovely bars in the port and Ostraco is probably my favourite, the guy who runs itt is passionate about speedy service, fresh water is served...before you order and you always get nibbles with every drink you order. We enjoy cocktails and this place does one called a Rosa Munda...gin, creme de cacoa, rum & juices, absolutely delicious, i was here last year and by chance ended up in the bar watching the world cup, great hospitality..see you next yearMore

The Ostraco Bar is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable bars in Plakias. I think my wife and I are fairly well qualified to make such an observation - we've been drinking in this wonderful establishment for over twenty years. Not continuously, you understand,...but spread out over a couple of decades. Where do you start when you review this bar? First up, there is always a friendly welcome, Sharron and Yiannis make sure of that, the drinks and food are first-class and served with staff who are polite and attentive. It's been wonderful seeing son Manolis grow up, too, over the period and he fits into the warm character of this little part of paradise. Very good breakfast with the best croissants and the best coffee. But that's not all! They also have teamed up with 'the corner' for the best pita's and lunch/dinner options. After that they serve a nice cocktail
