Relaxed bar @ the best spot of Plakias. The crew is superfriendly, music is chilled and the drinks perfect. Just sit there in the evening and enjoy!

Off the horrible noisy terraces round the corner, friendly staff and good cocktails, listened a two girls live concert few days ago in a relaxing atmosphere

Easy to walk past and furniture is a bit tatty, but great spot to watch the sunset and service was good and very friendly.

There is something to be said for a quite relaxing outdoor space to watch the setting sun, and in this case it’s called Armyriki. Not only is it a picture perfect location but it boasts great friendly staff. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy pre dinner drinks or a late night-cap.

We decided to drive to the other side of the island (the east part). After crossing Souda bay we saw some restaurant and coffee shop. We stoped and sit in Armyriki. Amazing!! The waiter gave us water immediately without asking and the coffee was great! But the atmosphere and the view near the beach- don’t miss it!! If you are near there, drive there, sit for an hour or more, enjoy the quite and the view and the ladies works there are polite and great! Warmly recommended!

This is no doubt the hotspot of Plakias night life. We have been several times and we enjoyed nice cocktails at this excellent location next to a rocky part of the coast line of Plakias. Saturdays and Mondays there is also live greek music until the early hours of the morning.

We were disappointed when we first arrived in Plakias that the place hadn't opened yet for the season. Preparation was going on to get ready in a Greek, slowly, slowly style. The bar opened for our second week and I was a happy bunny. Lovely setting looking out to sea sipping an Ouzo and munching on the accompanying olives, tomatoes and cucumber. Lovely staff too.

This coffee shop has been open for a couple of years now. There are tables right next to the stony beach, the music is really good, there's a blackboard telling you "No Wi-Fi, TALK" which endeared it to me. But for one reason or another I kept walking on by. Yesterday we went there towards sunset. We sat down and were not offered a menu, but we only wanted teas. My friend wanted hers "English Style", but does not drink UHT milk. She asked the waiter if they used fresh milk, was told they do, so ordered a tea. I asked for Mountain Tea. My friend's tea looked lovely, a teapot, tiny milkjug with teaspoons sweetly folded into a napkin under it, a choice of brown or white sugar. My mountain tea was different. A mug of warm water and a teabag!. I asked her to take it away, and pour boiling water over the teabag in the kitchen. She refused, "This is how we make it". So I asked for some honey, which was brought in a liqueur glass. It was undrinkable, as was my friend's. They'd brought her UHT milk. The bill had been clipped into a decorated clothes peg (it was a little high for good tea, terribly expensive for what we'd been given), drank some of our teas, and left. As we did, the waiter went to our table to collect our money. Shame. It should be lovely, but we won't be back.

Music 10/10 Service 10/10 View 10/10 Ambience 10/10 Quite simply this is the coolest bar in Plakias. Retro furniture, the best music selection that varies from 40s Jazz to 60s Pop via 50s Country and a bit of big band thrown in. SoundHound got used quite a bit! On Saturday a duo with fantastic harmonies play Greek and other music . They are fantastic! The drinks selection is great .... the view at sunset is breathtaking. Thank you Armyriki .. we will be back next year xxx

This little bar has the best view for a drink at sunset. We loved having a glass of wine or a beer here before going out for dinner. What a view! And the staff is great too. A must do when in Plakias in my opinion.

We loved stopping off here for a glass of wine. There is an area across from the bar where you can sit under the trees and gaze out over the bay. Beautiful. The wine was good as was the beer. And the cherries and nibbles that came with them hit the spot!

A small place on the road going out towards the west from Plakias. They have a few seats at small tables looking out to the cove. The coffee was maybe the best I had during our week in Crete.
