We went here after parking at Preveli becaise we didn't know what facilities would be like on the beach and didn't want to go all the way down the steps to find no cafe/restaurant there (there was). As this was the only place around I thought it wouldn't be very good, especially as I am vegan! I was very wrong the food & setting was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Nice place for drinking coffee and eating something after coming back from Preveli beach (which is quite exhausting). We took pita with chicken and tzatziki and these were tasty.

For the traveler exhausted by the long and steeply way from Preveli Beach, this taverna is a blessed oasis. An inspired, simple and elegant architecture; wonderful photos inside, speaking about Crete and Preveli Monastery just after Crete liberation from the Ottoman occupation. The service is very polite, the prices - reasonable. I have very nice recollections of my visit there.

Perfectly placed next to the tranquil monastery at Preveli. We came on the first bus out of Plakias, and this little place is perfect for a drink after spending a while soaking up the beautiful location and spiritual feeling of the monastery at Preveli. Those monks certainly know a great location to place a monastery!

It is always a pleasure to find a good clean cafe that offers some variety with reasonable prices. Clean toilets as well.
