Review of the Whippet coffee shop Linden Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and served by Mandisa our waitress. We enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and a caramel muffin and chocolate chip cookie. Vibrant atmosphere. Off street parking.

Whippet love

The Wippet in Linden never disappoints. From sunrise mimosas to get-your-day started rich and aroma rounded coffee and scrumptious brekkies. Friendly service and bubbly atmosphere. Love love love "my whippet"

Great breakfast

A quirky cafe with delicious food, and attention to detail. I would highly recommend the fudge and bubbly pairing! They were super allergy friendly as well - you just have to ask.

Poor service

My family and I went to the Whippet in linden for my sisters 18th birthday and were almost turned away by their lack of vegan options and extra charges for alternatives like soy milk (+R8) and oat milk (+10). I ordered the black bean tostada...which they said they would replace the danish feta with avo and then tried to charge us R31 for the avo. My family and I are not impressed at all and will not likely go back.More

Always rewarding at the Whippet

Right at the front of the line in combinations and permutations. Vegetarian food that is almost a sculpture of persuasion for the recalcitrant, and I always enjoy a cuppa at a wall bench.

Veganism rethought with a mimosa to follow

Whippet coffee shop in Linden has become our fave spot not only for their awesome 7am mimosa's and friendly service but also their amazing menu flavours . I recently took up the challenge, and enjoying it, of becoming vegan and am thoroughly impressed with Whippet's...vegan selection. I have tried just about all their vegan options and they have a fresh and delicious take on veganism that is inspiring. GREAT JOB guys!More

Long Standing Friends Meet

We met at 12:30 for lunch at this vibey spot in Linden on a Saturday afternoon. While we waited for a table (reservations not allowed) we were served some sparkling wine which was a nice touch. The waitress had to be reminded about our water...order. Our food was lovely as was our choice of wine. We enjoyed a lovely long afternoon together. We had to leave at 16:00 when the restaurant closed.More

Early Morning Breakfast
