My wife and I have been coming here on our date nights and absolutely love the green curry. No extra salt or spice is needed. The waiters are polite and on point. The cocktails excellent. Amazing atmosphere is so inviting and tranquil. I would 100%...recommend.More

My visit at Fusionista was a disappointment. Sorry to say that. The visit at the spa was amazing. Also the restaurant looks really stylish and comfy. Well I travelled all over Asia several times. And I can assure you that the food is a disaster....No love, no Asian spices, no Asian vegetables. I had green curry and fried rice with vegetables. Both was a joke and not Asian at all (see the picture). I wish it was differently. Because we are really looking for a Thai place we can go to frequently. Sorry. I will not come back. The service was amazing though. The idea wish the bell at the table too. I told the manager about my experience. He was listening, but he didn’t seem to be interested... whatever the response of the management is: don’t talk! Change the quality of your food!!!More

My mother treated us to a spa day inside the Koi Mist room which we followed up with dinner in the restaurant. The treatments were gold and the food, atmosphere and service were nothing short of something to rave about. If you happen to only...visit the restaurant, you can still have a spa treat in the form of a neck massage while you dine. Our compliments to the chef because I don't believe that we'll soon have another culinary experience like we did at Fusionista - we are already planning our next dinner at the restaurant and will be taking everyone we know back. If you like asian food I highly recommend trying the "Taste bud tour through the East" set menu. Whatever you'll pay will be worth it but they are very affordable. Wow, thank you Fusionista!More

Just returned from Vietnam and Singapore and having their Food still in Memory i went to Fusionista once again for it's SEA-Food. I am a Lover of this kind of Food, well prepared, very large Selection, very large Range of Deserts. You will not be...disappointed. Good taste of Spices and Herbs they use in their dishes. Easy parking, clean, attractive decor, excellent staff (Happy our waiter today, is terrific), food was excellent with an extensive menu, illustrated menu with sooo many options - really all kinds of Asian foods. The starters were to die for ,melted in your mouth . But the main course for my friend which was the duck , was drier than a country facing drought .No flavour whatsoever even with the sauces we had . It was chewy and dry....I was spoiling my friend for her birthday and the food went from a 100-0 real quick. The waiter was a gentleman and attended to us so well . I will come again but the duck needs more attention. The spa was nice but felt rushed even for a 60 minute massage, I would not say it was bad but I would not say it was great either. Thank you.More

With a craving for some Thai food, I turned to Google and one of the results returned was Fusionista. We went not sure what to expect. What we got was a friendly welcome, a massive selection of eastern dishes in a large menu. The service...was very efficient and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had Thai spring rolls followed by Thai red curry and it was all delicious. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other options.More

This is a restaurant very local to me and I do not know why I have not been before. It's a bit quirky and I was put off at first. Lots of staff. Very strange colour schemes. Perspex menus. Buzzers to call for the service....Once we got settled though, it was awesome. The service was friendly, casual, relaxed but faultless. Tatenda was our man and with effortless charm he met our every need. The food was fresh, vibrant, undiluted Thai. I am hoping this will become our "go to" in the future because they deserve to flourish. I had the prawn cakes followed by an amazing slab of seared tune teriyaki. Good wine list for Johannesburg as well but there are an overwhelming range of beers and cocktails to tempt. Thoroughly enjoyable in every way.More

We had never been to this restaurant before, so I took a chance and booked a table for my husband's 40th birthday. What a treat! The decor in the restaurant is gorgeous, the food is to die for with an extensive food and drinks menu...- if variety is what you want, this place has it! The Vietnamese leaf wraps were absolutely divine - so much flavor! Our waiter, Tatenda, and the manager, Johan, were both so friendly and helpful. They even brought out a free dessert and coffee mug for my husband's birthday. This extra attention to detail and going that extra mile is what will make customers want to come back - well done guys!!!More

I can't fault the spa (our massage was really good); however the restaurant could really improve the way they treat their patrons. The front desk lady at the spa informed us that they have increased the drinks list for the special so we could order...a beer, coca-cola etc. We went to the restaurant, we weren't properly greeted when we arrived and just chose a table. The waiter came to our table and asked for my receipt from the spa, he then disappeared and I had to ring a buzzer button on the table so that we could order drinks. The waiter asked us what we would like to drink so my girlfriend asked for a glass of wine and I asked for a Coke, he immediately said that I was not allowed a Coke (contrary to what the lady in the spa told us - which I explained to him and he did not accept and was pretty rude and unapologetic for the apparent miscommunication). The waiter said I could have a cola tonic and water (not soda water) which I said was fine; about five minutes later the waiter brought my girlfriend a half a glass of really poor quality red wine and brought me cola tonic in a glass with two ice cubes and a grubby looking container (full of finger marks) containing luke warm tap water. We eventually got up and left without eating because of the lack of hospitality, the manager was sitting behind his computer and saw us leaving, he asked me what was wrong, I then explained why we were leaving and he didn't seem too bothered (didn't even apologise).More
