Lovely peaceful setting. Pork snitchel special was great. Had a good time going through the bookstore and antique shop. Then we settled under the trees for good food and friendly service. Was a great outing

The garden is amazing, the rest is ok. The lady who welcomed me was very friendly and proffessional. I had a stroll in the shop and restaurant. It was quite quick to do so.

False advertising. On a board at the gate they advertise coffee and milktart. I visited them today and there is NO milktart. The price for food and colddrink is really rediculousMore

We stopped by midweek for a light lunch and were very pleasantly surprised with this experience. The Sanitation and Covid rules were strictly adhered to, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting under the trees. The healthy portion of food was extremely...well presented and equally tasty. The service by both Jeanette and Steve was exceptional and we were made to feel very welcome. An enjoyable outing.More

What do you give someone who has everything? Memories... this is exactly what happened at Melon Rouge today. Great lunch and delectable desert in a homely setting under the trees with exceptional service from Minkie. The nostalgic walk through the antique shop afterwards just made...the experience so much more special. Thank you Minkie, we will definitely be back soon.More

Nice place for a quick bite. We enjoyed the art and antiques also sold at good prices. Lovely scenery and play area for children. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Did not eat there due to the rain. Walked through the "antique" section. So many of these tourist type antique shops have a limited range of average quality, this was no exception to the trend. The shop was dark, overcrowded and the two ladies seated...chatting at a table, possibly the owner or an assistant didn't even interrupt their conversation to acknowledge our presence.More

Almost hidden away, but a very interesting place to visit if you into antique stuff. Food is great and so is the service. It was a rainy day and a cosy farmstile setting was prepared for us inside among all the antiques on display. Thank...you MelonRouge Eatery & Art Antiques, we had a great time!More

A lovely little spot where you can breathe out, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Calming guitar music, attentive service and wholesome food at a reasonable price. On top of that have fun browsing the little shops offering vintage clothing and products, old books and records....A real walk back in time. Our favourite eatery of the long weekend.More

Had lunch on the way to Mount Grace, what a quirky place! I enjoyed the shops, realised how old I am getting when I saw some of the toys I had as a child in an antique shop! The pies are something else, so good....Well worth the food.More

Visited during the week in school holidays. We were the only people there. An interesting collection of old stuff (antiques?)for sale. We had planned to eat there but moved on because it was so quiet. The staff however are really nice.
