Have eaten here on many occasions, as a couple, with friends, for breakfast and dinner - a definite winner and cannot wait to return !

Vegetarian burger was excellent. My partner had the seafood pasta, which was superb. We tried to sit outside, but it got a little windy, so moved just inside (both options are lovely). Wait staff was very attentive. Good value for money. Nice variety on the...menu, and perfect location (right in the middle of Simonstown).More

Truly divine dinner and most certainly the best place in Simon’s Town. Perfect ambiance for our couples dinner - but fully enjoyed by other ranges of diners including families of all ages and solo diners. We ordered the muscles as a starter, followed by the...prawns (an off menu tip if you’re after the most delicious plate full of succulent prawns) along with the Kob fillet enhanced with a coconut and coriander sauce. Flavours we will be talking about for years to come. Attentive, friendly and efficient staff were just the icing on a wonderful evening. Highly recommend this idyllic spot.More

I usually cycle down to Simons Town & have a very good Full breakfast at The Lighthouse. Today my wife & I tried lunch - I had beef fillet & Helen had the Mauritian Bouillabaise - she said it was the best bouillabaise she had...ever had. They have back ground music playing at low volume, which I usually dislike in restaurants, but the selection at the lighthouse includes many of my 60s favourites. Heleen x. BarryMore

I was looking for a place for a quick brekkie before tackling the museums in Simon's Town. The Lighthouse Cafe is ideally situated on the main road. Breakfast certainly was quick and not bad at all!! Kudo's to the chef as my scrambled eggs and...bacon were great and the tomato "smoor" accompanying it was actually very good. The only down was that the place has no wifi - so I had to read my book instead of doing some admin. This would be a welcome addition to the offering!More

We had an incredible brunch here. The service was great and the food was amazing. - we will definitely return for breakfast or brunch. Loved the kitchy decor, too!

I first reviewed The Lighthouse in Feb 2014, as one of a bunch of "7 sweaty cyclists" and gave it a good review. I stopped cycling in early 2017 after several near misses, survived advanced cancer in 2019, but am now back on my bike....Stopped off today on my second ride to Simons Townn since 2017 for a Quickie breakfast but was tempted by the Full House - it was a joyful feast & the service was superb. Heleen keep it up, glad you survived. BarryMore

Girlfriend and I popped in for a quick lunch (after looking for recommended restaurants in the area) and were not disappointed at all, we both had beer battered hake and the portions were huge and delicious. We didn't want the experience to end so we...ordered the apple crumble dessert and that was amazing. Prince was our waiter and he was professional and on point. I highly recommend giving this cafe a visit if you are in Simon's Town. A++More
