Great view. But we waited an hour for our food. Very small portions and the food isn’t cheap. Tomato sauce diluted. Bad service and an overall bad experience. Not recommend.

Not a great place. Heard alot about it then went to have dry sushi with cut in half fashion sandwiches and inexperienced service. Also if you need the bathroom there's a construction site Porta pottie waiting for you. R700 bill for two people with dissapointing...sushi.More

We went for a lunch at the Oyster bar. The setting was beautiful, the staff an absolute delight. The food was fantastic, real fish, not frozen from a packet made to roll out in bulk. Exactly what we were looking for. We had such a...great time, it made my day. We will certainly be back! Berlinde MinnieMore

We just popped by and thought this looked like a quite little place. With the water just by your table you can’t really come closer to the water. We ate som sashim as well and it was fantastic. i

We visited for a light lunch and enjoyed 3 excellent seafood dishes. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Oysters and sashimi wonderfully fresh. Good prices, highly recommended!

Friendly welcoming with great wine and really good locally caught oysters. From the outside not the most inviting but once inside the staff were attentive and really welcoming. Enjoyed a great local Sauvignon Blanc and medium oysters which were delicious. Great place!

The place was not one of those recommended by our Hotel, but we hesitated at the door of Kaai 4 being put off by a strong smell which was not fish. We were about to leave the harbour when we took a peek in at...the Oyster Bar. It is basic, reminded me of a seaman travelers cabin with the fruit of the vine boxes greeting you at the door. Our apprehension was overcome by the very friendly welcome from the manager. We were told about the seating and that they had limited space. The service from the waiters was a tad bit slow but improved as time went on. A limited beer on tap and wine list is provided but prices are very reasonable. Both the fish dishes we ordered were very very fresh and done to perfection. The side salad was basic but also freshly prepared. In my view, this restaurant proved the better option for the evening.More

If you don't experience at least one sunset here while sipping wine, enjoying the food and laughing with friends, you have missed out on one of the gems of visiting Mossel Bay

During our December trip to Mosselbay, we decided to visit Oyster Bar. Mauritz is a FANTASTIC, very friendly host, welcoming us all smiling and very friendly. Oyster bar has the biggest, bestest, freshest oysters in the entire Mosselbay. High quality sushi, fantastic calamari, but the...oysters are top of the list!!More

I certainly do not see why not. There is plenty of space and when we visited there were no small children there because of the type of cuisine on offer. My answer would be a definite yes.
