The restaurant boasts a wonderful carvery selection however for people not able to stomach all the food that is on offer, the alternative menu options aren’t that great unfortunately... we were only 2 tables in the entire restaurant at the time and they still got...the order wrong.. the restaurant has an unmatched view of the ocean and everyday at around 6pm the dolphins pop by for a show which is spectacular however very little can be said about the al a carte menu...More

Really enjoyed the food. 2 had Buffet & loved the veggie selection. The rest had off the menu. Loved the espatada - big enough to share. Excellent waiter Derrick who was attentive and friendly.

Once again, thank you PONTOS for a really wonderful evening in which everything was just as our table of 6 hoped it would be: great view, great vibe, great food and great service. Special thanks to Derreck for the service part ...

Three of us went to Pontos end of November 2019. The poor waitress was on her 1st. day and was very nervous. The older waitresses didn't even come around to help her, but she did her best. We all ordered steak, very nice but mixed up...by waitress. There were onion rings but just 3 thin pieces sliced and raw and hidden under the steak. We didn't even get chips or wedges. My wife decided to go for the veggies, she loves her veggies. She took one look at them and decided no way not for her. We decided on salad for an extra R15.00. The salads looked pathetic and watery. I took a plateful but ended up eating steak and bread. We used to frequent Pontos, but the quality and service was so bad that we stopped going for a few years. Terrible all round and especially while gearing up for the holiday season.More

We went and had the afternoon buffet on 31/12/2019. I can honestly say that this was the worst meal my family and I have ever had at a restaurant.I really would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family I would not...even give a 1/2 star. There was chicken mixed with the fish the food was tasteless and cold and very unattractive. I would never go back to this restaurant again even if it was the last restaurant in exsistance. 1 star I gave above is to high but I cannot mark lowerMore

Order cuppacino and it arrives cold. Sugar bowl placed in front...of me is disgusting. Go and eat from a street vendor. This place is horrid. Soek die steak en wen n uno🤔 Not value for moneyMore

Extreme long eating time and both low quality and quantity. Staff nice though. Still suggest to avoid this place.

Everything from the moment we entered the restaurant was absolutely terrible! Dirty table and placemats, horrible service and attitude from the waiter, the buffet food was cold and clearly left overs from the Christmas lunch. The A la carte burgers was dry and the buns...stale. We will never visit this restaurant ever again.More
