Worth a visit, the gift shop is an added bonus! Not a wide variety on the menu but something for every taste. Originally went for breakfast but decided to have something sweet rather after seeing the cake display. 😁 Due to the nature of the...gift shop, no children under 10 allowedMore

Visited for coffee & carrot cake, and to our surprise discovered in addition to an attractive eatery the place also had an absolutely perfectly peaceful little outside sundeck under the shade of a massive old tree to relax. The carrot cake was deliciously moist and...tasty & tasted home made. Seems we finally found our new favourite place to enjoy confectioneries, we'll definitely be back.More

Ranters gripe children under 10 aren’t “welcomed” / accommodated. It’s the very reason why I enjoy my time and experience @ Fynbos - its whining (& noisy) children free. Parents are notified up front, not once they’re seated about the “ruling”. If parents (generally) parented...correctly with consideration towards “others”, Oupa wouldn’t be typing this. At family eateries, Oupa knows up front it’s rowdy. And Oupa enjoy that too. Oh, and my ongoing pleasant culinary experiences lure me back time and again.More

Beautiful little restaurant. Food great and well presented, staff friendly and the place just got a peaceful vibe. Keep up the good work your quality still the same for the past 27 years. Always a high light, we enjoy coming here.

To escape the rain we called in for coffee and cake. We were greeted and taken to a table and ordered coffee which was delicious and l had lemon meringue which was the best l have ever tasted. My husbands scone and cream was equally...good and once finished we looked around the lovely quirky gift shop. All in all a good place to visit.More

We popped in for breakfast and were not disappointed. The restaurant is spacious and has a homely atmosphere. The breakfast was good.

We ordered a sit down meal with a take away for supper. The service was not up to usual standards. The toasted chicken mayo sandwich was poorly presented and dry. The Chicken salad was also not up to usual standards with lettuce and peppers forming...the greater part of the meal. The Takeaway x2 of Lamb curry for R129.00 each was shocking. Little more than a serving spoon of mutton curry, mostly bone and the vegetables looked as if they were weeks old. Very disappointing and definitely not the quality of food we are used to. We felt as if we had been taken for a ride and when raising this with the chef, were told that that is what the metered amounts of food were. Definitely not worth R129.00. We have frequented this restaurant for many years, however this will be the last time we go there.More
