The brainchild of award-winning Chef Michelle de Jager, The Succulent Eatery is a living restaurant. Her food philosophy is simple: keep it fresh and local – think free-range chickens and freshly caught fish from Mosselbay. A lot of the ingredients used are also grown on the farm and in our very own hydroponics system. Furthermore, you can even buy local ingredients in the Deli.

We went to watch Valiant Swart and had dinner before the show. My daughter is a vegetarian, but there was no pasta for her to order. I asked the chef if it is possible to make her a vegetarian pasta and he didn't hesitate to help. This was one of the best pastas she has ever had and I think you must add it to your menu. I didn't catch the chef's name, but I just want to thank him for his kindness and helpfulness.

I had my birthday lunch with 2 friends. The service was out of this world, the food was mouth watering, the presentation was just on point. Everytime I eat here, I always have the best experience. We bought some plants & some bottles of wine to take home. I look forward to going back again soon.

We had an amazing lunch experience at this venue yesterday and hope to enjoy this very soon again.
Started off with 2 garlic butter prawns each to ready our tastebuds for mains to come. Still can’t agree which of the 2 Wagyu burgers was the best, although I’n sure my Saucy burger pipped the Succulant burger at the post. Third guest had the New Yorker and expressed her appreciation by finishing hers although her portion of pulled pork was gigantic accompanied by a lovely salad that brimmed with freshness.
All of this was enjoyed with a crisp vinho espumante, recommended by our excellent and well informed waitress, Chenise.
Rounded off with great coffees and one of the best pieces of carrot cake we’ve had since starting this trip 6 weeks ago.
Reedvalley, thank you for the great hospitality, enthusiasm and consideration with which your guests are treated.

We went with high expectations, we even made a reservation, but our experience was bad...
The place is friendly, nice decoration, however the information on the site are different from what we found, starting with the chef chef who is now the chef..
We ordered 1 salad and 1 dish of seafood to share... the dish had an accompaniment to choose, we only discovered later because the waitress did not warn us..... despite the request to bring the salad before, the 2 dishes came together, without the accompaniment that came only 15 minutes later...
On the table there was only dessert dish when we ordered larger dishes she became misunderstood and only after we insisted brought the normal dishes..
We asked for olive oil and we were offered something that was not olive oil.. only after we complained they brought the olive oil..
With so many complaints the chef came to our table to understand what was going on.. he apologized, asked what he could do to help us, but we are already a bit upset..
The food was good but with poor service we do not recommend

We visited the restaurant on the 26th of December. To say the least, we were extremely dissatisfied. After waiting and standing before being able to go to our table, we had to wait another 15 min before being helped by a waiter. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. The service was shocking.

Love love love the food. What an amazing food experience. The most amazing steak that melts in your mouth. Divine blue cheese sauce with veggies cooked to perfection, the spinach absolutely wonderfully prepaired and pumpkin so delicious. I love this restaurant and would recommend it to any food lover. Compliments to the Chef 👨🍳 Leon for never disappointing and the presentation gorgeous. This place is a definite 10 out 10. Try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Visited Succulent as part of a wine tasting. The guide suggested we chose our dishes to compliment some of the wines we were going to sample.
There was a great choice of starters, I had the Spicy Chicken Livers which were amazing, Chris had wonderfully garlicked Calamari. Again lots of choice for mains and we both chose the Rib Eye Steaks, they were basted in an amazing sauce. For sweet we shared baked Brie, with ginger figs. A fantastic meal in a truly amazing setting.
Would definitely recommend a visit.

Everything was lovely, from the service to the food. Friendly reception, warm and friendly service and the food was devine. We had a variety of meals from burgers and steaks to seafood, and everyone had a wonderful meal. Can definitely recommend it! And lovely wines of course!

The interior and service is great. The menu has a good variety at a good price. The problem is that various items was out of stock! We could not get sparkling water nor Coke zero. There is a big shopping mall 10 minutes away. Could nobody go and buy some. The wine paring was not available, the catch of the day - not available! When asked for a dessert wine - not available. This while the wine shop 10 meters away sells desert wine - pathetic!

We had the best time at this beautiful picturesque venue, filled with gorgeous greenery. The wine tasting was wonderful and we had the best service from our waitress Kuya. I can’t wait to visit this garden wonderland again!
