We had the pleasure to have breakfast at Krotoa during our stay in Mosselbay. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and chose a table outside.
Our waitress, Zinhle was very friendly and served us with genuine friendliness throughout our meal. We had two cappuccinos and a red cappuccino and we enjoyed every sip. My husband had an omelette and our son a croissant. Both agreed that they enjoyed their breakfast very much.
The menu also boasts a selection of light meals and a Jakkalsvlei wine by the bottle/glass and is very reasonably priced.

This was exactly what we have been looking for in the area. Cosy cafe with a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and excellent staff. We had one of my favorites, eggs Benedict. I have to say this variation was the most unique and delicious combination I have ever tasted. Well done to Cherise and the staff for creating such a wonderful place in the neighborhood. God bless!

Popped in as we were passing for a coffee and lunch and wanted to say what a wonderful sandwich we had. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced and lovely sandwiches. Always worth remembering those nice touches by the owner to make you want to return again

One of those rare gems where you can experience a cosy atmosphere with some good coffee and a light meal. Maybe they could consider some options for replacement of meat products to cater for vegetarians - I know that some places offer macon instead of bacon. Perhaps a consideration in the future, but otherwise a great place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Tasteless breakfast wrap with no micro greens as per menu. Two tiny bits of bacon and one piece of sundried tomato. Chips tasted old, as if it was cooked yesterday and just reheated. Definitely not freshly fried. Eggs benedict tasted good, but eggs was overdone and hollandaise sauce cold.....as if it came straight out the fridge. We are very disappointed and will not be back.

Review of Krotoa restaurant and coffee shop in June 2024.
Situated in the busy Marsh Street of Mossel Bay Close to the Point.
Bridgette and Agnes were friendly and always smiling.
Comfortable seating.Â
Delicious and nicely presented meals.Â
 We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, eggs benedict, and a strong, flat white cappuccino.
The store is named after a Krotoa Woman in store whose history inspires.
Free wifi.
Off street parking.

Really friendly and cozy environment, the staff is extremely welcoming and the food is evidently prepared with joy. As italian I've asked a customized espresso (very very short), in the way I'm used to take at home, and it was perfect. If you pass in Mossel Bay this is a place where you can feel homey.

The people are really friendly, but there was hair in my food. The last time I went here with my friend there was hair in her food as well. The apologized dearly and I said it was alright, but to have it again just didn't sit right with me. A restaurant can't be a restaurant without proper hygiene.

This quaint eatery on the corner is surprising! Their menu is concise, with a delightful range of choices. Breakfasts, salads and light lunches. Their coffee is the best we tasted in town! They also cater for children.

Staff are very, very friendly, with coffees very good. I enjoyed my Cortado and my wife said the cappuccino was good.
Free Wifi, with outside seating overlooking part of harbour. Inside seating facing Marsh street.
