We went here because of the good reviews here and recommendation from our lodge. The waitresses were more interested in talking with each other then taking care of guests. The food was really much worse than we expected. We didn't finish anything. Rice was overcooked....More

This could be one of the most beautiful settings of any Restuarant that I have been to in the world. We had Pre-drinks at the bar. The view from here is magnificent. I must also mention that we had a perfect weather day. The service...More

Great quality food, but overpriced. The portion size though of starters can increase in size for what you pay. The wine selection definitely needs attention, can improve selection that will accompany food. We might be on holiday & have understanding that it is silly season,...More

Good food and excellent service. We just stopped over for a light lunch on our way to Knysna and were lucky to get a table. Besides the tourist there were a lot of locals, always a good sign.

If I hadn't found Cafe Gannet I would have starved. The food in the rest of the place is awful: greasy, full of starch but seems to please a lot of people. Cafe Gannet has outstanding food and wine. Highly recommendable.

We had a little waiting time during our stay, but really enjoyed it! You have to try the casserole or some prawns. Really good and fresh fish. Pizza is okay but not awesome... Jared was really friendly and explained us a lot about the food...More

One of our dishes was fish on a bed of quinoa with lemon bits and roasted vegetables so if all of that is vegan (minus the fish of course) then it would be delicious. Anyhow, the kitchen is big and bustling and I’m sure... More
