A lovely arty quirky cafe. The food and service was excellent. The menu was interesting, and it was nice to eat in such a fun place. They even run film nights with a delicious supper.
We were staying at Audi Camp and came here to do wifi each day.
So glad we discovered Motsana!

Newly constructed restaurant within a mall with some nice shops, run by locals (paraphernalia, clothing, souvenirs) within 10 minutes drive from "downtown" Maun. Friendly, local staff, good hamburgers and fries + local steaks.

If you are looking for a nice spot to enjoy your coffee with minimal movement or noise this is the place to be. Whenever I’m Maun I make a stop here just to have some “Me” quite time. Great customer service, looove the decor and the look and feel of this space :-)

Every Thursday night (Weather permitting) a movie is shown at this centre. Imagine sitting and dining on comfy sofas having a glass of wine while watching a movie on a huge screen? It's quite and experience... but the food is quite disappointing and quite an anti -climax. The beef burger is just that with no fries or salad, and the quantity and quality of the food needs improving on. Drinks are nice and cold and the service is pretty good.

On the edge of the bush in Maun, this venue is beautifully simple and artistic, great food without the fuss, good prices and great way to soak up the sense of Africa, loved it.

Lovely spot for a sandwich or light lunch before heading in the park or a coffee and a catch up with friends. Movie nights on a thursday are also brilliant.

Good place for food and a change of scenery. They even had Milo which I was happy about! Would have liked to go to the Cinema night but didn't get the chance.

The food is fresh and delicious. I went there for the first time and I was not disappointed, I didn't want to leave! I would say the prices are the usual prices you would pay at most restaurants.
They have daily specials, the manager is very friendly and you can pre-order meals.

Matsane is ouside Maun, along the road to Moremi. They serve decent food, a bit overpriced but tasteful. Smooth service, free wifi, breezy, well-shaded:in short, an nice place to stop on your way from or to Moremi.

My husband and I housesat in Maun for a month in March 2016. While close to many attractions, Maun lacks enough to entertain you for a month. We spent most mornings at Matsana eating their delicious muffins and enjoying the free wifi, comfortable surroundings, and friendly staff. We ate lunch at Matsana twice, and both times it was excellent, not fancy, but very delicious and fresh. In my opinion, Matsana serves the best chips in Maun. We also attended movie night, which was great fun. I don't think you can go wrong with Matsana.

We actually hosted a "wedding reception" here after a civil wedding in Maun!
The owner set a large table in the dining room and we had about 16 people for a late lunch.
Started with olives and more trays of large canapes on the table than we could do justice to!
Plenty wine and cold drinks, then we were served with platters of chicken, beef and fish together with all the salads and accompaniements. A dessert had been planned of a large white confection, but no-one had room!
Just the laid back atmosphere we all needed after a hot and stressful morning!
Thanks to everyone for their patience, in Botswana fashion everyone was an hour late!
For the passer by Motswana provides a European menu and casual lunch. Excellent wi-fi!
