We found the lovely quiet coffee shop tucked away. With it’s beautiful gardens, it was a welcoming delight after a long drive. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. We’ll worth the stop and will definitely visit again.

Went there for pizza and I must say I was really surprised; It was really good and very fresh. The atmosphere is also welcoming.

Had a work farewell dinner at Roots of Africa where we had pizza and burgers (both chicken and beef). The burgers were very tasty and generous. You can tell that they freshly make their own fresh patties. The pizzas were very fresh and delicious. There...is a also a large choice on the pizza menu for people of all tastes. Would definitely recommend this place.More

My first time at this restaurant and the food was good but the service my friends and I received was poor. When we arrived there were other tables there and around 8:30pm we were the only table remaining. Business hours posted said that closed at...10pm. We began receiving very passive aggressive behavior from staff. I ask our waitress what time they closed and she said 10pm but “we don’t have any customers”. My friends and I weren’t just sitting after eating, we were still ordering beverages. I asked what are we? She said not enough people to stay. I approached the manager/owner John and his response was the same, “not enough people to stay”. I guess our money was not good enough for them. If you’re not willing to work the hours you post, change them!! I won’t be going back or recommending this place.More

We pulled in to the car park and were somewhat apprehensive about what we would find on the other side of the fence. We were shown to a table in the garden and were pleasantly surprised by the rustic but homely surroundings. A friendly waitress...took our order of ribs and chicken schnitzel pointing out that the ribs special was better value so we opted for the special. We were amazed by the sizeable portion of ribs when they came to our table. They were not only tender but covered a wonderful sticky flavoursome glaze. My chicken schnitzel came in two large pieces with a thick creamy cheese sauce on the side. The accompanying salad was both crisp and fresh Our early apprehensions were completely unfounded. We left feeling fully satisfied and happy that we’d found a little gem tucked away in a side street.More

This has become the best place in town. There is a big area for the kids to play around. Many plants and trees to give it a peaceful vibe. The staff are friendly and kind. They serve the best smoothies ever as well! 10/10. Love...it!More

We stopped to break our journey after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor. Very impressed and really enjoyed the ambiance outdoors and the excellent food. Great coffee too and a very good mango smoothie! One of these in the heat of a summer day would...be worthy of a stop! Very kid friendly as there is a safe play area.More

Roots of Africa is a gorgeous place to go to, Café/Coffee Shop/Restaurant. It caters to everybody’s needs. The food is great with a really wide variety on their menu. Portion sizes are generous and the price is right. It’s also a child friendly environment with...a jungle gym where the little ones can play. If you’re looking for a relaxing place for a coffee and a catch up or even a lunch date, I definitely recommend this little gem.More

The pizzas are slammin' man, I highly recommend the pizza with the spinach and feta. If you think all hope is lost, and there's nothing good left in this depraved world, visit Roots. The service is unquestionably authentic, the food comforting, the napkins abundant, this...is a perfect cultural experience for every Tom, Dick and Harry. 6 stars out of 5.More

Roots of Africa is really different. If you look at it from the outside you would not think much about it. Once you enter it's a real relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Management and staff are great. Menu is really affordable and what I like most...is that you can build your own meal. You order what you want on your plate and pay accordingly. I would recommend this restaurant, a must for a great meal.More
