Best coffee in town!! Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Also this place/diggers inn serve absolute delicolious steak worth every penny! Do definitely stop by here when in Francistown.

It was my first time here on account that digger's pub & Grill just upstairs was closed temporarily. The atmosphere and food did it for me here. Makes for a lovely space to chill with loved ones and friends

The food is really good and the staff is great. The carrot and cheese cake is to die for. I usually go there once a week.

The service was terrible, we came in around 11am with plans to have late breakfast but the waiter told us she was asked not to take breakfast orders! 😐 we asked she called the 'manager' who came with an attitude and told us their kitchen tools were already washed and cleaned. Said they were now cooking lunch mind you this is an ala carte menu.
The service was cold & unfriendly, the least the waiter could have done is tell in more friendly way that they don't serve breakfast anymore and show us what they can make for us, suggest, show interest! I'm never setting foot there again 😔🤚

Tried to lunch at Thorn Tree but it was under construction the security guard directed us to Diggers Inn bar/ restaurant upstairs. He said it was ThornTree. Lovely food, lovely deck with a breeze and top class service! Will be back!!

Having just arrived in Francistown we were directly to this cafe/restaurant.
Overall the food was good, we all had sandwiches or toasted sandwiches.
Staff couldn’t seem to get the order right at the start, but everything was right in the end.
We had milk shakes, which were great.
The food took an absolute age to appear, so if you are anything like a hurry, give this one a miss.

I had a few great evenings with friends and family, Pitza was excellent.Service a bit slow but perhaps it was quite a busy evening. overall not bad at all

This is an excellent meeting place for leisure, business or catching up. The food is amazing. We had gone there with friends to catch up as we had long seen each other. We had breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing, the chicken mayo I ordered was very nice. Service is excellent.

We've been going here nearly every sunday with a group of people from church. The staff are amazing! So sweet and friendly. Their milkshakes are the best in town! Great service and great food!

Thorn Tree is the perfect place for those lazy Saturday options for a great breakfast . In fact any day is a perfect day for breakfast and a delicious light lunch at Thorn Tree. The menu is well thought through, the food is delicious, the service is on point and the location is perfect.
This is the best option for breakfast or a light lunch in Francistown hands down .
If u r visiting the great city of Francistown, go to Thorn Tree and I am sure Amanda and team will take gud care of u..

Our small tour group popped into The Thorn Tree for lunch on our way north to Gweta.
Lovely friendly service, fresh food cooked well and the menu even included some selections for those eating Banting (LCHF or Keto)!
The coffee was a bit too milky and could have been stronger, but otherwise, a lovely atmosphere sitting under the shade of a large tree.

Stayed in the Diggers Inn for business and part of the service they deliver is that you have breakfast at the Thorn Tree. Food is always good and never once had bad service here. Will definitely recommend to have breakfast or a light lunch here when you visit Francistown.
