We loved the food that was available here - fresh and really good! Items available are shown on a blackboard and can change daily according to availability. Everything that we tried was excellent There was always a queue but their service is fast and efficient....At present they are only open from 12 to 6pm but this may change after Covid restrictions relax.More

My family and I went to the seafood shack whilst on holiday and it was DELICUOUS. I would highly recommend the pork bun. The chips were great and so was the food. Even fast service considering the HUGE queue. Will definitely visit again!

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely location. I ate just about everything on the menu while sheltering under a brolly out front of the shack. Me and my partner loved every bite!

It was so busy so walked around Ullapool and then went back when not so busy. Luckily they still had the spicy fish soup which was so good. Hubby got the macaroni with peas but he didn't enjoy that so much? Lovely little area to...sit in with the wee gin shack there too, so had a lovely gin mojito. Would definitely recommend it and would love to try all their other delights.More

Yummy seafood, totally worth the wait. Lovely to see a female owned, female run company too! They sell their award winning book at the shack. There may be a bit of a queue when you arrive! We were there on a Monday afternoon; started queuing...near the entrance to the outdoor shop 14:13, got our food by 15:30. Queue was half as big at 4ish! Totally worth the wait, nice bit of delayed gratification, but if you’re in a rush don’t expect miracles! We got the haddock wrap (yuuuum!!!), langoustine (very fresh and tasty but not too filling) and cullen skink (warming and reasonably priced) Would love to go back!!!More

WoW! Being half Scottish and half Breton, I know about my seafood. Well well, my meal there was the best seafood lunch I have ever had in Scotland. The langoustines were particularly tasty, and everything else was amazing. The all female kitchen runs like clockwork...and is extremely efficient. I hate queuing but I would never mind queuing to eat at the seafood shack again. Ladies, I sincerely applaud you and thank you so much for a superb lunch. Beuz. Trugarez-vras.More

We had a delicious lunch at the seafood shack whilst on the north coast 500. The fish cakes and the haddock wrap were insane. Would 100% recommend!

Fresh local fish cooked to order. We had to wait but no matter...... It was lovely sunny day, sat drinking gin from the pop up gin from Rhidorroch Distillery (from a few miles up the road) all in the seafood shacks courtyard. Really enjoyed the...food, lovely menu, they just cook what they get fresh off the boat so menu changes. There was Cullen skink, oysters, fish cakes, fresh crab sandwiches, tempura haddock in wrap with salad plus more! We really enjoyed our food. It’s obviously very popular as there was a queue out onto the street. Nicely spaced tables, well organised queuing system, sanitizer and great recycling bins for all food packaging! Worth a visit for sure.More

Ate here after arriving for a night pre ferry. Informal - turn up order and eat outside with whatever they have on that day. Had some good langoustines and spicy fish stew. Gin bar on site. Turn up early for a table as can get...busyMore

We had originally planned to have lunch elsewhere on this day but decided to stop here instead. There was a long queue before it had opened but we were in no rush. The menu consisted of fresh dishes which were all reasonably priced. The food...was excellent, so fresh and full of flavour with very good portion sizes too. Would go back in a heartbeat.More

My partner had a smoked trout salad so yes, I would suggest they do. Their site says they do their best to suit dairy free and gluten free.
