Seriously, our favorite meal of our vacation! I had the Buffalo Mole Poblano and he had the brisket enchiladas. We both felt we had the best. We had reservations and got in right on time. Excellent service as well. Treat yourself to this restaurant.
Fantastic meal this evening. We tried the chicken enchiladas, carne asada, Buffalo short rib, and the elote starter. All were excellent. Our party also tried three drinks; the house margarita, prickly pear mezcal margarita and a daily special margarita with chili and ginger.
Truly, everything...was excellent. We could not finish everything, left stuffed and happy.More
We wanted to eat at Elote because it has been ranked one of the Top 10 Mexican restaurants in the country. Its reservations are full a month at a time. We were lucky enough to get a call from them that afternoon off the wait...list. I had the brisket enchiladas, and my wife had the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious!! The margaritas were even better!!More
Make your reservation far in advance, it's that good. Service, drinks, meals, desserts are all over the top. Just do it, you won't be disappointed. Parking is tight, but there is plenty of free lots all around the area.
We booked our reservation a month in advance and couldn't wait to find out what all the hype was about. We soon learned when they brought out the Elote appetizer. The best Mexican style street corn I have ever had! Our entrees were good, nothing...fancy. The Mexican chocolate cake is to die for! Don't skip dessert! Everything from the whipped cream to the caramel is homemade. Yum! For our anniversary, our server gifted us with almond flavored tequila to go with dessert - it was fun to try and a kind gesture.More
This was the restaurant everyone recommended we try when researching our trip to Sedona and I understand why. We ordered the appetizer special (queso fundido with mushrooms) and the pork cheek entree. The flavors were so well balanced and the meat was tender. Unfortunately, we...filled up on the chips and salsa and were actually sad that we were too full to try anything else or take home leftovers since it was our last night in vacation. Would go again in a heartbeat. Reasonably priced for the meal quality. Elote does require a reservation, even for the bar, or you can order take out.More
The restaurant lived up to its hype. In a new location in Uptown Sedona the food only gets better. We had the elote as an appetizer. Corn creation and the flagship dish. I had the Carna Asada which was perfectly cooked Romanian steak with spices....I ended the meal with Mexican pie. Simply superbMore
This was our last meal in Sedona and it was memorable in every way!!!. The cocktails were delicious and the food exceeded our expectations. Our server made excellant recommendations and was spot on for what we would enjoy. We loved the goat cheese balls and...elote to start. Our blood orange margaritas and cava sangria were the perfect accompaniment. The beef chile rellenos, smoked beef brisket enchiladas, and buffalo mole pablano were all fantastic mains. We each felt ours was the best. And the Mexican chocolate pie with agave ice cream was the perfect ending. We had to take back leftovers to our hotel so we would have room to share the dessert and we were grateful to have them for lunch before flying home.More
