If you want a small, intimate venue for a tango show where you are no more than a few metres from the dancers, with a mix of incredible tango dancing, talented musicians (the violinist was very good and the Bandoneon player mesmerized me with his...More

We wanted to enjoy a tango show and dinner without paying super-high prices. This place was great. The show was modest, perhaps, as there were only 4 dancers, 4 musicians and two singers, but it was all very enjoyable (even though we only understood a...More

This show suited us perfectly .It is small enough to be authentic but professional and entertaining throughout. There were three performing couples ,all wonderful as they danced their way through the history of Tango. There were a coupleof sultry singers and musians helping tocreate the mood....More

After looking into some of the better advertised Tango shows and finding them to be exorbitantly expensive, we just happened on to this venue a few blocks from where we were staying. What luck! We decided to do just the drinks and show (without dinner)...More

We had a wonderful experience here last night and loved each performance. Many times we think that spending more on a show/activity/hotel/meal = more for our money, when in reality, you can have just as good of an experience while spending MUCH less. I am...More

I was pleased with the menu and the show. Be prepared that no beverages are included in the price so anything you request would be paid for seperately. It was one of the more affordable Tango shows and locals come here as well!

The food is appalling - but the good news is that you can have a few drinks and see the show without eating. When we visited there were quite a few Argentinians, and NONE of them had dinner as far as we could see. I...More

This is not a high-end glitzy show in an ornately decorated theatre. It is much more down to earth but still very enjoyable. The big advantage is its intimacy. The maximum capacity is probably not much more than sixty yet we were able to book...More

Pros - ability to book and pay easily on line without going through hotels or agencies. Good dancing by all pairs (though we're no tango experts), efficient service by hosts and servers - drink delivery, check settling, etc. Small venue - good visibility from most...More

We got here following a recommendation, indeed it was a good show and not as touristic as these things might get. We booked it ourselves on their website, they accept PayPal transfer and were in all very nice. We took only the show, a good...More

San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San
Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made
Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many
different cultures: a true child of immigration, much
like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after
dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both
locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee
hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
