We had a lovely lunch in this charming cafe. The ricotta, spinach, & pumpkin torts was delicious. We had on of the best cheese omelette ever and a very good latte. The croissants were a little heavier than typical & very tasty.

We came upon this place around 2 PM when locals find that it is much too early for lunch. We had a liter of beer and shared a sandwich. It was enough to tide us over and to leisurely absorb the atmosphere. Clearly a place...More

Lovely bygone era feel to this cafe restaurant in terms of decor and service. Worth going if only to have a coffee.

As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires,
Montserrat is defined by the historical events that
took place there and the landmarks that have stood the

this connection to history: countless public
demonstrations have passed through this square, going
back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the
