We only had a drink, but it is a nice setup with lots of arts, like a little art exhibition. They also have their own glass workshop. Service is friendly and competent.

I have visited the Barn several times in the past few years and they have only got better. Their service and meals are exceptional. You have to give them a try next time you in Worcester.

The atmosphere in the little eclectic garden was really tranquil and calm. The staff are friendly. The food is delicious, well priced and they are not shy with their portions. We did find that the waiter was not very attentive, but overall it was a...really good experience.More

I stopped there for breakfast. Not a good idea. Quite spacious and set in an art gallery. The coffee was cold. I was alone in the restaurant the only noise was the rather loud chatter from the kitchen. For breakfast only one slice of toast...looking lonely in a basket. The eggs were as ordered but crispy at the bottom so overcooked in my view. As for the butter the little tub was empty obviously recycled from a previous customer. I had to ask for a sealed tub. The marmalade was served in a pot obviously recycled from a previous customer and topped up. the spoon was sticky and so was the jam pot Bacon had absolutely no fat on and was not crisp. The borewors was tasty and moist. All the food was cold. I was in a hurry so I ate the food and informed the waiter that it was a disaster. When I asked to speak to the owner I was told he was away. A case of when the cats are away the mice will play?More

Magical hidden garden atmosphere filled with art deco, which is also child friendly. There is a gallery where well renowned glass artist David Reade displays his works of art. The coffee is freshly brewed and always lifts your spirit when you are looking for real...coffee. The food is freshly prepared and looks as good as it tastes.More

We have eaten here before many times and are back again. There really are limited places to eat in Worcester and The Barn is always a good standby. It's not fine dining but very good quality produce well prepared by a good kitchen and served...by a very competent and attentive waiter. We ate in the garden as usual and had peri peri livers and Thai fish cakes which were superb! Will always go back.More

I stopped at The Barn for a coffee, which was superb, and then decided to stay for lunch. The friendly staff provided great service. My sumptuous butternut soup, and salad arrived in good time. I ate in the garden courtyard which has several tables spaced...out in a pretty outside area. If you visit, do also have a look at the paintings and glass-art that are on sale. All very beautiful!More

Nothing nicer that revisiting The Barn, for unpretentious home cooked country fare. Everything is cooked from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Plenty to choose from and very good variety. Menu changes depending on what is in season. Great to sit indoors surrounded by art and...glass (The wonderful work of Lorna and David Reade) or outside in the courtyard alongside Davids Glass Blowing workshop.. Its an interesting place to visit. As locals, we return again and again, and that has to mean The Barn is something special.More

The food far exceeded our expectations, it was delicious. The decor is eclectic, but some parts were dusty. Interesting to look at the glass ware and paintings.

There are not a lot of choices of good places to eat in Worcester but this is certainly one. Not gourmet but very good all the same. We had stuffed mushrooms and a chicken wrap which was very nice and made even better by the...waiter who without hesitation agreed that a change that I asked if it would be possible to do with the ingredients was done with a smile and a no problem. So good food and great service. Thank you.More

I agree with everything the previous reviewer says. Just want to add there are not many good choices in Worcester in my opinion, and visiting from out of town quite often, this is a very safe bet. The specials on this day were the chicken...livers which were cooked to perfection and a fantastic prawn salad. We ate in the shade in the garden on a very hot day with white wine served by the glass. Excellent service! What more can you ask for?More

The Barn has a few attractions, here you can catch up with the ladies doing the "coffee shop" thing, you can admire and buy a good painting by Lorna Reade, view some of David Reade's beautiful Glass and have a very good chalk board meal...thanks to the very accomplished Chef, Nola. I've had many meals here and I've never been disappointed by anything out of the kitchen. As a semi-requent visitor I can even ask for something creative not on the board. I've had excellent soups, steaks, the best Peri-peri chicken livers and gorgeous Daly bread. Salads are always fresh and the hamburger is really great, a skinny one is available too. A great place to meet friends and a really nice place to refer visitors to. A friendly, easy joint in the perfect location. A good selection of local wines. Great bread can be bought and taken home too.More
