Went there with my dad the other day for a healthy breakfast. Very much enjoyed their fresh sourdough with smashed avo, egg and salad. My dad was happy with his oats and fruit. Pricing was good and service was great.

Was looking for a nice breakfast spot and went on the TripAdvisor rating. They may have had a bad day but it was a frustrating visit. They are known for croissants- had none. Asked for the french toast- nope “all finished” - even though they...had bread and eggs?! Had to settle for the croissant filling but with bread which arrived as small slice of untoasted ciabatta with a bit of a topping. Felt done in and very disappointed. It was supposed to be a special occasion. The waitresses were resigned and not keen on making requests to kitchen. One even said it is her first day after leave and she is not sure why nothing on the menu is availableMore

We arrived early and they opened the eatery specially for us. Awesome venue and brilliant food. What a nice breakfast venue and owner managed.

We keep coming back to this delightful spot, so glad it has survived lockdown! Today the coffee (beans roasted by the owner) was fabulous and we polished off a really large slice of almond and strawberry cake, with a cream cheese icing. Best cakes ever,...anywhere!More

This beautiful little restaurant has the most amazing gourmet sandwiches on their menu, which are beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. It seems that the chocolate cake is a must, so will be back for that!

We were a party of 12, celebrating my mom's 79th birthday. The table was ready when we arrived, service was on point, food was lovely. Will definitely return!! Thank you.

I've popped in for cake, lunch, breakfast, and a quick coffee or cup of earl grey tea and they never disappoint. The staff are always friendly and I particularly enjoy their Chocolate cake made with Guinness - wow, absolutely incredible.

Located close to the centre of Stellenbosch; really tasty, home-made savoury tarts and salads for lunch; great cakes for coffee time; very good value. What’s not to like?!

Still the best cake in the country. Possibly the world. Michael knows how to bake. Today was a very dark choc, very walnutty espresso cake, which was like tiramisu on steroids. Heaven. We began with breakfast, which was also very fine. All the details are...thought through, with excellent results. Reasonable prices, vibey, friendly service. Love this placeMore

Their special pancakes were utterly divine but their special quiche, although tasty, was a small serving compared to the other breakfast orders we saw coming out. Definitely a good spot for breakfast.
