I made the reservation online through meal plan.com but, somehow it didn't go through. Thankfully, they made room for us two old guys. I saw the reservation notebook and they had lots of reservation! What a super restaurant. The service was outstanding, our waiter well Informed, the menu extensive, the plates heated, the comp tasters brought with the bill, the background music and ambience all brought the evening to a perfect occasion to celebrate with my partner. Loved it.

The steaks are incredible, and reasonably priced. We went here because one of the regular stops was booked up. Pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of their steaks!

What a great place, service on point and the food was delicious. Even wanted to drink the onion gravy that's served with the vetkoek! Only problem we had was the dessert was colder than expected but definitely returning to try everything on the menu.

We really looked forward to our dinner at this restaurant after all of the positive reviews. However our experience was wholly disappointing. My husband's starter of Octopus salad, had very little Octopus but a great amount of tomato, I commented it was 'hunt the Octopus'...and more like a tomato salad. Unfortunately there was a problem with the table leg and my husband got soaked in his wine. Our waiter was apologetic but sadly immediately knew what the problem was. Our biggest disappointment was the restaurant's toilet arrangement. These are situated outside of the restaurant and it appeared shared with other bars, mainly full of students. I made a visit and there was a group of lads and one girl crowded in there with one young man urinating with the door open. Not a situation you expect to find in a restaurant of this calibre. Also the washrooms were filthy, with a lack of hand sanitation. The remainder of the meal was good but my one star review is because of the poor toilet facilities, especially if the kitchen staff are also using them.More

We went for a family lunch and were extremely dissappointed. We waited 1,5 hours for it to come, only to be served raw prawns that were still completely transparent. The portions were also extemely small and heavily overpriced. Then we waited in total 2 hours...for our mains. After asking many times, it finally arrived and wow what a disappointment. The steaks that were supposed to be medium and medium-rare, were overcooked to the point of dryness. The beef snitzel came completely raw. The food was heavily overpriced aswell. Overall the worst dining experience ever!!!!More
