The story of the Seven Sisters (and one brother) was the reason we chose to come here. Wasn’t disappointed. Very professional. Wine tasting was great and very romantic. I wish nothing but great things for Seven Sisters. I’ve become a true supporter.

Had an excellent traditional Cape Malayan curry and Bobotie! Both served with a roti and fresh salad. Very well priced

………..Our visit here today was a three-fold venture, the first was to redeem our Hyperli voucher for wine-tasting with cheese boards and the second was to do some catching up on what they had achieved with the plans that they had for the future which...they shared with us in our two past visits and third-lii to see if they had stocks of the “Moscato” wine which they didn’t have in stock with our past visits! So here we were for the third time only to be amazed because we didn’t recognize the place as the sign outside read “The Village Table Bistro” and when we got inside the place looked a bit in disarray, there was no-longer the nice bar counter area just tables and chairs and in the one corner there was a beautiful big Black Grand piano which wasn’t there before! But our host Vivien was there and as ever and always charming and pleasant and then she told us of the happenings of the past! We learnt that up until about two weeks ago they had a full-on restaurant going for the last 8 months with a full complement of staff but sad-lii they were forced to temporarily close shop due the intense up-grade to Annandale Road, there is heavy graders and trucks some days the road is closed and many of the patrons just found it terribly inconvenient and they started to lose business hence the closed restaurant which they hope to re-start in 2019 when the road-works are to be completed! But they will still honour all the Hyperli vouchers, they still have wine-tasting when patrons arrive unexpected-lii, they still hire out the venue for special occasions and other functions! About the “Moscato” wine they still don’t have it in-stock because this is their best export product and they just can’t keep up with the demand, so they are considering to discontinue this wine for the local market and replace it with another. We final-lii discovered that they did get to launch the Red blended wine in honour of the only brother in the Brutus family hence they now have the “John Brutus Reserve” together with the Brutus Shiraz and Chardonnay! We also noticed that the Bright-lii coloured labels are also changed to a more goldish embossed and expensive looking one, so we were told that due to their over-seas clients demands they had to change their old original labels to the more expensive looking one! Strange assumption that the wines might be regarded as a cheap-pii product due to the colourful labels! Again our visit here today was an escapade of sheer enjoyment we got to taste two white wines and the two new Brutus Shiraz & Chardonnay both red wines plus we got a complimentary glass of the new “John Brutus Reserve” The cheese-bounds were sufficing with 4 different types of cheeses a nice coriander-chutney, olives, mustard, fresh strawberries and some dry-biscuits! We will have to watch their Facebook page to keep-up with the ongoing developments and we are told that their web-site will eventual-lii be up and running in the next week or two thus allowing on-line purchasing of their wines! For us it’s always worth the while to travel out this way for a visit to Seven Sisters!.......More

We arrived during off season but the owner of the vineyard was generous enough to open her space for our party of six. The wine was excellent and most importantly the history behind the wine-making. It felt good to support this fabulous business and we...especially enjoyed the fabulous views and the wine was also delicious. We brought some back to the US.More

I recently (on my birthday), took a trip with my husband and kids to the Seven Sisters Vineyards. What an awesome experience, from the beginning to the end! The wines were amazing and so was the hostess. She made us feel so at home and...was very knowledgeable about the wines and the farm itself. Coming from a household with only sisters, I could definitely relate - you can feel the warmth of family in every crack on the walls and all the decorations; the family pictures on the walls is such a true testament of the amazing bond this family have! And the view was spectacular! Besides, the voices of our little ones gushing over the fish, you can barely hear a sound, but the sound of nature! We will definitely be back soon for another visit!!More

The true West coast sea-foods are insidious-lii delicious.... we often ride out there to replenish our Home stocks...Hahahahaha! Superb fine wines......we are made to understand that one of there wines are served in the first class flights in the USA! Amazing stuff!!!!......More
