Inside there is a massive roaster which leaves a faint lingering coffee aroma in the already homey atmosphere.
There is a number of seating options, which includes a couch in the loft area, single tables for those who wish to do work using the plug points and fast wifi, larger tables for big groups and an outside seating option for those who wish to enjoy the sun, birds and breeze.
There is a large variety of food options for both the carb-lovers and carb-watchers. Coffee beans are available for purchase. This, I might add, is some of the best roasts in Paarl. However, the coffee you receive inside the shop is not consistent. Sometimes it is perfect, at other times it is burned. Some handmade gifts allows for a beautiful display and provides suitable options for those who wish to spoil a loved one.

First time visiting Bean in Love, always caught my eye when we pass by. I am a coffee snob and the name attracted me. First impressions were good, very unique design inside, with second-floor seating as well. Clean bathrooms made me very happy. The aircon was a blessing in disguise after our hot cycling ride. Wow, whatever you do order that Cornflakes French Toast, you won't be disappointed! The coffee is also a must-have.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Paarl! Amazing beverage menu & I always enjoy the food. The interior is beautiful & you have the option to sit outside on sunny days. The only downside is the staff. Their attitudes are very off putting & they lack professionalism.

They were out of pork (although offered on their menu in quite a few dishes). Service was terrible - had to call the waiter every time I needed something although it was very quiet. The restroom is dirty - has not been dusted in quite a while. The food presentation was bland. I ordered a chicken burger - the chicken was deep fried and dripped with oil. Waiter did not ask if I needed anything.

Let me start by saying that they’re super overpriced and the attitude of their staff sucks. I have been to Bean in Love on many occasions and they never fail to put me in a bad mood. Their food is average and way overpriced. Their staff has an attitude each time I go there. I even witness their attitude with other tables so I know it’s not just me. The manager has a HUGE chip on his shoulder and seems to think he’s doing the customer a favour when you ask for a table. Terrible service when my sister had her birthday brunch there, the one waitress gave us a dirty look and rolled her eyes when we asked for a knife to cut her cake. Waiting for the day they close down.

This is really my favourite coffee shop in paarl. Best coffee. Werner awesome and friendly.
I just have a problem with the staff. They are not friendly at all, hardly greets me

We stopped hereby accident for a quick coffee, but after ordering we notice the cheese cake and order a portion.
This is one of the best cheese cakes we ever tried. Words can't do justice to this masterpiece.
The ambiance is great and the service excellent, there is nothing wrong with the coffee.

Neatly situated on Main Road in Paarl with ample parking, Bean in Love makes for a comfortable break.
I sat inside although outside seating is available. The menu is simple yet pleasing for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Had one of their croissants which was excellent. Price wise they on par with most mainstream cafes.
I found the waitors a bit cold and uninviting though.
Other than the waitors, everything else was superb. A definite pitstop on a return visit to Paarl.

We were just passing through and wanted a lunch bite. With a hamburger and a sandwich each we wer well served - very tastily prepared with much attention to detail. Followed by a very good espresso. Nicely furnished place with garden.

It is very difficult to get a good cup of coffee. Although it was not the best I have had it was still a good cup of coffee. The omelette was ok. The rest of the table raved about their burritos and French toast. I loved the ambiance and the atmosphere in this coffee shop. It has such an energetic vibe. I always opt for sitting outside when I have the option but this time we went inside and went right to the top. Great view and perfect for people watching.

yes, i was there again a year later and I was very pleased to see the same place in the same shape and even recognised most of the people working there. Same great coffee and breakfast as I was expecting it, same friendly service, so its again a recommendation to go there and enjoy a very good coffee. As they run their own roaster, you can buy coffee out of a nice selection of different kind of coffee beans.

Sitting under the canape of this magnificent tree on a hot day was brilliant, the coffees were world class,staff friendly and helpful. They recommend the chicken wraps, simply sensational!!. Coffee, wraps, shade, outside, Brilliant just Brilliant.
