Great food but strange service!

We fancied something spicy, so drove from Franschoek for a curry. They forgot our starter, so our mains arrived, which was a bit of a surprise. We asked for spicy curries, which we received. Very good food, but need to work on the service.

Best Indian Food

Consistently serving the best Indian curries - The Paarl branch certainly exceed expectations - while enjoying our meal, one could not help noticing the many delivery vehicles picking up meals - some regulars collect their own online orders - this confirms how popular the restaurant is - our waier, Kinjal was outstanding and one of the best.

Wonderful Indian food

Great and delicious dinner with friends - they cater for guests who like very spicy food, as well as guests like me who love curry but needs to be very mild.

Delicious Curry

Indeed the best curry I have ever had. If you want to be amazed by flavours and just plain excellent food, treat yourself and eat here, you will not be disappointed — the Prawn Korma in an absolute must. Out of this world.

Curry at its best

Constantly perfect lamb curry and spot on friendly service. Local KWV and other wines. Easy parking over weekends. Go eat there!!!

Great food!

We went for a nice dinner at Moksh in Paarl. We were greeted very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, excellent flavoring and the naan bread were the best! I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Some of the best curries in SA

The Moksh franchise rates amongst the best in the country. We don't hesitate to eat at a Moksh wherever we find one. Most of the dishes on the menu are great and the selection of wine good. The only consideration is slow service. In Paarl it is not uncommon to be in the restaurant for 45 minutes before the meals arrive.

Still the best place in town for authentic Indian food. Really enjoyed the combination of spices they use. Service is always very friendly. A nice place to take your family or friends. Options range from very spicy to not spicy at all. The staff are very helpful to help you make the correct choice. Definitely get the garlic naan!

Attended Moksh with a group of friends (8 people). Some of whom it was their first time having curry and some the first time visiting Moksh in Paarl. You are able to bring your own wine and pay a corkage fee. Moksh offers you a relaxed and intimate atmosphere while presenting you with a taste of various types and styles of Indian curries. Lamb rogan josh and butter chicken remain a favorite, while the chicken Korma is also worth a try. For those who dare to challenge their taste buds - the Vindaloo is the one for you (warning - it only comes in hot, and it’s damn hot!) Overall never disappointing and incredible food!

We had a business lunch for a large group of people....maybe that was the problem since the food took a very long time to be served and was, at best, only average. The dhal makhani especially was a huge let down, very runny and without flavour. Desert (few scoops of ice cream) was served in tin foil containers. Really disappointing

Moksh Paarl has never disappointed. They have an excellent menu with seasoned staff and the menu is comprehensive, offering dishes for all kinds of diets. If you have a taste for Indian food, then certainly feel free to try them.

Great Indian food

You go there for the food and not neccessary anything else. But you won't be disappointed. Feels like Northern India. Food comes in copper pots and pans. Not to be missed

Really authentic Indian

Moving from London down here we really missing our Lokal Indian , but guess what we have found one here and a really fantastic one The dishes are all freshly made , so you have to wait a bit but it is worth the while. If you like it spicy ask for it , the curry’s are not very hot like back in London. Best naan ever !

Brilliant curries served in Paarl

Moksh curries are far better than the best rated curry houses in Brick Lane, London, UK. We have been regulars at Moksh Paarl for the past year and decided to try a curry house in the Brick Lane area close to Liverpool Street in central London for their world famous Indian curries. What a disappointment compared to what we got used to in Paarl.
