Still the best food in the area. The quality and quantity are superb. Excellent traditional food and excellent service. Great atmosphere.

We enjoyed a lovely baked lamb pie, local wine and an amazing 🔥 fire place at lunch. The desserts looked amazing but unfortunately we need to enjoy this another time. When next in town do stop by.

We came with our three young boys and had the most delicious lunch we’ve had for a while. Cakes and coffees were superb too and so were the staff. Highly recommendable

Really really delicious country food, friendly welcoming staff, good value for money. The lamb is excellent, and so is the chicken schnitzel. The fresh pomegranate juice is from locally grown fruit and not to be missed.

I heard about this place and to go and see.And I was not disappointed for on minute.Nice relaxed atmosphere.Although the sign post need some TLC (Maintance) and I think the can may clean or print new menus.Everything else was perfect.I had the French toast stack...and it was very good. The coffee was also very good and just what we needed to start the morning.I will definitely go and try the lunch etc Staff was very friendly and I will recommend you to pop in hereMore

We went here for breakfast, but I got distracted and ordered an ostrich burger. It was flavourful and succulent. They had a couple other ostrich dishes on the menu that I would definitely like to try when I visit again. Nostalgie has a sweet cozy...character, having tea in the garden was so charming. What added to this was that we were there on a Tuesday morning so we had the place to ourselves.More

The service was great. Food reasonably priced and had the best ostrich fillet in a sweet potato...highly recommended. Their bobotie and towering schnitzel was also very good. Had to settle bill before we finished our meal due to load shedding

The waiter was polite but useless. He failed to explain the selection which was on a board and not on the menu. He never asked if we needed more refreshments. Our food took over an hour and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The food was...luke warm when it eventually arrived. The waiter said there were 2 kebabs however it was 1 kebab broken into 2. I ordered ostrich kebab which came with basmati rice and a monkey gland sauce. Hello, where did this chef get his training. That combination is not traditional Soutb African cuisine. Decor was hideous. Traditional SA decor does not include chinese lantern. Menus were dirty, chairs uncomfotable, the list goes on. How this restaurant can get 4.5 star rating is beyond me.More
