We had pre-booked and were welcomed and escorted to our table with attached benches. One of our party requested a chair which was speedily delivered. The tented open air restaurant with sand floor and gas fires (two wood fires in then entrance) had great atmosphere. the restaurant is not licensed so BYO. Although the menu lists a number of fish... Take a parking lot, cover it with beach grade sand and beach furniture, put a big tent on top and serve the best fresh seafood ever and you have Freshline Fisheries! This is a great place and the food was excellent, service efficient, with the compulsory big and genuine South African smile! The fact that it is very affordable for... More

We went to the place on our final stretch of our holiday through South Africa´s Garden Route. It was the best Seafood we had for 2,5 weeks. The prawns and the tuna were grilled perfectly and as silly as it sounds, the chips (fries) where the best we had in a long long time. Our waitress Zim was very nice,... More

It is in an industrial zone; there are lots of parkings for your car and lots of outside tables on the sand. The view is - somewhat industrial. You won't care: since the fish and the crayfish and the prawns and the calamari and the mussels come in with an astounding variety - and everything was absolutely fresh and tasty.... More

So good to find a restaurant where my gluten free necessities aren't a problem, and my other half can eat well also. The food is perfectly cooked and the selection brilliant Great to sit outside, and have a blanket to ward off the breeze. So glad we booked, even midweek, I saw a fair few people being turned away as... More

Hi Raven Thanks for the kind words, to other guests, we are an out side venue so if the wind is up or there is a nip in the air, keep a jersey, jacket or jumper in the car just in case, we do our best with fires and blankets to keep our customers warm on the chilly nights. Warmest... More

You need to book to visit Fresh line--we tried for Monday and went on a Wednesday--we realised quickly why it is so popular. The fish and sea food is so fresh and prepared in various styles. We had three starters followed by fresh fish which set the standard for all other restaurants we visited--was the fish as good as Fresh... More

A simple no frills restaurant serving the very best seafood. Very informal, sitting outside on benches with bare feet in the sand! Bring your own wined beer as they are not licensed. Generous proportions, at very reasonable prices. The seafood was the freshest and tastiest ever. The Mozambique prawns are the largest we've ever had. Good service. Would highly recommend... More
