Stunning spot right at the heads. It's just a beautiful space! Really great breakfast selection on the menu, and our choice arrived with perfectly cooked poached eggs, plated in style. Our waitress was friendly, well spoken and efficient. It's really great for breakfast and lunch,...the food is fantastic. We'll be going back!More
Tasty food and very good and friendly service.
We were here out of season and although they were busy we did not had to wait for a table. Inside and outside seating makes for a great view over THE HEADS
Definitely a great place to...visit.More
10/10 across the board! Would definitely recommend! I came to East Head Cafe while driving through Knysna. The view just from the parking lot took my breath away. We were welcomed by super friendly staff. We were helped by Juanita J and she was an...absolute gem! We both had the eggs ranchos with the tortilla and I 100% recommend it! Such a great meal. I also loved the non-alcoholic drinks menu in particular the Hibiscus Shandy. I would travel back to Knysna just to come back to East Head Cafe.More
Two o’clock New Year’s Eve calls for a bite so we’re off to East Head Restaurant down at the Knysna Heads on a picture-perfect afternoon. What a view! Adjectives don’t do it justice.
We’re welcomed with an ‘If you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes, we’ll...call you’ and almost to the second, we’re led to a table right in the front. Wow!
Zenobia takes our drinks order from an innovative menu catering for the non-alcoholic variety - smart marketing – one of which is listed as Covid se moer. You gotta laugh.
Fish ‘n chips, butternut and blue cheese salad and a Caesar salad, with chicken added, arrive as in ‘Oh my gosh!’ It’s almost too beautiful to eat.
Zenobia is a barrel of fun; she clearly loves her work and pleasing her customers. Not least of which is the fact that they were closing at 15:00 but there was no thought of rushing us through our meal.
Owner/manager Amy modestly accepted my compliment for an all-round good experience saying ‘It’s the staff’, but clearly leadership and training are of paramount importance. Good on them.More
On a beautiful day we took a chance to have a table at this very popular restaurant. After a 20 minutes wait we were shown to our table. Table had a wonderful view of the heads. We ordered from the very innovative non alcoholic drinks...menu ( alcohol is forboten at the moment) A very friendly waitron, Xenobian, took our orders and the drinks were delivered fast. We ordered fish and chips, Caesar Salad and vegetable salad. Presentation was out of the world and salads were fresh and crispy. Very good fish and chips. 10 out of 10 for the innovative alcohol menu and 20 out of 10 to a knowledgeable and friendly waitron. Thank you to everyone concern at this establishment, well done,More
The service was friendly. The waiters and management went out of their way to accommodate all of their clients. The food was superb and very well presented. They followed covid-19 regulations to the "T". We had a fantastic experience.
