Went for lunch several times. Sat in the lovely courtyard which was sheltered and cool Very friendly service and excellent food and wine! To recommended, much better than the previous year.

This restaurant is only open for dinner on a Thursday and Friday and it is open for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday to Saturday This is an owner run restaurant and the barefoot chef is in the kitchen knocking up the most fabulous meals - the crispy duck is simply out of this world!! Lovely ambience and great service! Book... More

We read about this in our Tripadviser app and walked over to book for that evening. The charming Marie-Claire greeted us (wearing sandals!) and arranged our booking for that evening. The restaurant is very popular with the local residents many of whom appear to know Marie well. The food was delicious and the famous duck did not disappoint. Crisp skin... More

This small restaurant is a must with some superb food. The crispy duck on our night was to die for. The menu correctly is limited to 3 or 4 starters and 3 or 4 mains plus deserts. You'll have to book well in advance.

We loved this extremely personal restaurant....it feels like home...a sassy waitress and a sassy cook, who, by the way, cooks very well. Not your average classical menu. Good interesting dishes! Well done. By the way, we missed yo on Grotto Beach on Sunday :-(

Small informal restaurant, freshly cooked food with lovely lambs liver and kidneys on toast. The crime brûlée and chocolate mousse also to die for.We went for lunch but they have a larger evening menu open Thursday and Friday for dinner.

This dog friendly establishment has excellent service and amazing affordable food. Cozy atmosphere and a great wine selection . This is a must dine restaurant when in Cape Town city. One needs to book in advance as it is full most of the times.

Love this place! Huge back garden area with fountain. Tables are quite close and it seems that most locals know all the other locals. Menu is pretty static, so as you develop your favorites you can be sure of getting them next time. Food and wine are very reasonable - a delightful lunch with friends with great food, wine and... We first ate here in 2015, returning last year and this - it's probably our favourite in Hermanus, good home cooked food, straight forward black board menu, well priced, friendly service - they always cater for fish or vegetarian- just inform in advance. Last week my goats cheese fig and bacon entre was superb, lovely steak with mushrooms and the... More
