A lovely experience sitting outside in the cool shade, and enjoying the best ever Eggs Benedict. The eggs are properly poached, (not steamed) and served on a lovely crisp roesti, with a homemade Hollandaise sauce! Loads of smoked salmon complete this perfect dish!

An absolute gem in the heart of George! The food is incredibly delicious and well presented. A tranquil garden setting where we enjoyed the best coffee and even better service. Thank you Bay Leaf Cafe. We’ll definitely be back!!

This place is incredible! It’s the perfect breakfast place! Homey and the best dam service I’ve had in the area! The best staff and management. Let me just say, I had the best breakfast (potato Rosti with bacon - unbelievable!). Best cappuccino too! Nice inside...and outside area to eat. I can’t say more just experience it and let me know!More

This establishment is one of the best we have ever visited from the front door to the time of leaving its a wow, we bring friends here to show them just how good we can be. We love the koffie, its perfect there is not...an item on the menu which will dissapoint you. I absolute love the eggs Royal but their bacon and banana flapjacks are brilliant, treat yourself, treat your family and treat your friends, the waitrons and chef /owner are people you want to spend time with.More

We four elderly gentlemen returned to the Bayleaf after a fairly long absence and found all was well even with all the problems of Covid 19. Quintin runs a very well organised establishment and we were all satisfied with our fare. There is something special...about this place that draws one back for more!!!More

We want to add another 5 star review. My wife and I decided to have a late lunch after a rough morning. From the moment you step in the friendliness and professional service make you relax and enjoy the time there. We had an awesome...meal of Moroccan chicken and a steak. Big portion and such a feast of flavor. Thanks Quinton and team for a lovely lunch.More

It is really great to see that the Bayleaf has reopened after the initial lockdown period. The food is as good as ever and is excellent value for money. We always enjoy chatting to Quinton and hearing about his travels and culinary 'war stories'. Best...regards Chris and Alyson.More
