Stelio and his team over-delivers. The music is perfect for the setting, not too loud or soft, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you touch is crisp clean and fresh. Best dining experience in George in 8 years. We have had breakfast, lunches an dinner and the standard of food and service continues to please. Also, the food is so well priced and the wine is modestly marked up, you don't feel ripped off orderering another bottle. Neatest play area for kids and safe. Our new favourite in town.

The waitrons are excellent - well-trained and attentive with good knowledge of the dishes.
The food is very tasty and an added bonus is the delicious fresh bread served with all main dishes. Have enjoyed their large soles on many occasions - unfortunately on the last visit we were presented with the soles rather overdone on the underside. However, the delicious chips compensated for this slip up.
Definitely a place to visit.

We four elderly gentlemen, who have a monthly lunch in the Southern Cape settled for Osteria Tre Nonni . We were not disappointed. This comparatively new Italian Restaurant must be rated one of the very best in the George area. Our meal and the service were excellent and I am sure we will return.

Sadly some of the food in here was disappointing. My friends steak came massively under cooked so he finally ate his on his own after we had finished. Also we ordered ribeye and I'm sure they were rump. It had zero fat and was so tough to chew. The restaurant it's self was nice but being the most expensive by far of all we have eaten at during our 2 week stay we do not recommend this place at all.

After reading the glowing reviews we were very much looking to dining at Tree Nonni. What a disappointment. We can only agree with the reviewers on the size of the portions and the price point. Otherwise it was like we were in another restaurant. On arrival, there was no one to greet us. Finally an unsmiling young lady appeared near the bar and seemed very surprised to encounter people who had a reservation. We were taken to a smart table near a window on the left hand side of the warehouse size restaurant. The right side of the restaurant was very lively but our side was empty all evening with the resulting morgue like atmosphere.
The service was desultory. The white wine ice bucket was put in the middle of the table as there seems to be no ice bucket holder available. We put the ice bucket on the floor (a first for us)t o allow space for the plates and the red wine. We helped ourselves to the wine all evening. No service.
The food was good even though did not always match the description on the menu.
We cannot comment on the outside service as we did not sit there, As for booking being necessary, I doubt that very much.

Quiet lunch on a rainy day. The food was terrible and tasteless.
The salmon carpaccio was well presented but watery and tasteless. The Alio olio pasta had raw garlic, not cooked how it should be. The lamb ravioli tasteless and the creamy red and yellow pepper sauce not cooked either or fitting the description. The spinach side dish was ok.
Wine glass not polished and had water marks.
Waiter was mopping the floor around customers when there was no immediate need for it.
Manager not in sight when we left.
Maybe just an off-service but we certainly won’t be back or recommend this establishment to anyone.

Was looking so forward to dinning here. We ordered a starter to share. The menu stated fritters plural more than one fritter. It arrived one fritter with Joghurt. Price tag R115.00 how on earth does one justify one brinjal fritter for R115,00.- absolute daylight robbery! We called the gent who was either the owner or the manager! He was absolutely not interested in hearing what we had to say! Showed zero empathy and was arrogant! We left with our wine that we paid a lot of money for to dine elsewhere! Unfortunately we will not recommend this establishment! It is overpriced and the management lacks conflict resolving skills!

Our new favorite restaurant. In our mind the best restaurant on the gardenroute. Exceptionally classy while still being family orientated. Variety of exquisite dishes, you can, taste the love that has gone into the preparation of them. Awesome ambience. Excellent personal service, always feels like you're visiting friends.

Been here quite a few times and still find the food and service top notch, in my eyes the best restaurant in George.
The prawns with the sauce is phenomenal, the sole is the biggest I’ve ever seen and tastes delicious.
Cocktail list has a wide variety and all are well “crafted”.
Safe to say I’ll be back as often as I can!

My husband and I ate here for the 2nd time. It was a perfect summers evening to sit outside, watching the sunset and the beautiful George mountains - what a stunning setting. We sipped our delicious Margarita's and enjoyed the complimentary bread. It came warm with butter, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
For mains we ate the prawn pasta and the clam pasta. Such delicious tastes and generous portions. Wonderful attention to detail in the presentation of the food. Such great value for money too. The chocolate sorbet and the tiramisu were the perfect way to end off the meal.
Excellent service and very friendly staff. Thank you Stelio and team, you're doing an amazing job!

Second visit and can only recommend. Really interesting food, great service and setting. First time we had pasta (seafood and Carbonara), today salmon, caviar and vodka pasta and a vegetarian pizza. Shared a Torta della nonna dessert both times. Today Greek/Italian chef and owner Stellio brought us his new Canneloni dessert from the kitchen to taste - divine. If you love good food, you won't be disappointed.

Tre Nonni offers Italian cuisine of a high standard. Fresh homemade bread and piazza are part of it. But the menu is also extensive with pasta, meat dishes and fish. When the weather is nice, you can eat on a great terrace in the center of George. The waiters are very bright and hard-working, and I would like to mention Scotch here. But the interior is also tasteful and cozy.

Deciding whether to spend your time enjoying the view, or deciding whether to enjoy a pizza or pasta or which beverage calls you amongst the many beautiful options....if that's the hardest part of the experience we'll then life is pretty darn good at Tre Nonni!! And the BREAD...oh the bread...an absolutely winning spot!!!
Highly recommended and a great spot for families where the little one's play in the outdoor play area!!

First time attending Tré Nonni, with high expectations from other customers.
Pizza - excellent
Ossubuko - Delicious
Other family members also very happy with their meals.
Portion sizes are very large, almost enough for 2 people in 1 portion.
Very few negatives, being:
Some dishes needed a touch of salt.
Steak - only fillet or 700g club steak, maybe another type of cut to add a bit more variety?
Other than that, food was quick, the owner’s hospitality was very welcoming, and a nice setting to go with the peaceful evening.
Definitely coming back!
