Lovely stopover for lunch at this gem in the centre of town. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic, especially Nina.

Had baby hake and salad, from the salad to the hake it was 10/10 Will be back for more. Atmosphere was relaxed no loud music just this wonderful place with birds singing
Ignoring the absent WiFi issue, which simply must be addressed, this is a lovely cafe, with cheery, efficient service and a delightful garden area. Great menu variety, attention to detail with everything that comes out of the kitchen and a subdued background music track that...is as odd as it is unobtrusive. Well worth a visit.More
I had an hour to spare while my boyfriend was having a procedure done and was pleasantly surprised. Such a nice menu but as it was late afternoon, settled for carrot cake and coffee. Delicious and will definitely be back. Only downside is that they...don't offer free WiFi and the music was really "old" - older than Frank Sinatra & Shirley BasseyMore
Unassuming little restaurant hidden away behind the travel agency but worth the visit. You are seated in an enchanted garden setting and enjoy the friendliest of service. Great cappuccino and good wholesome value for money food. Enjoy !
Very disappointed. Call themselves the Travel Bug but don't have any wifi. Just had a coffee and left to find a place with wifi.
I've often seen the place off York Street thinking that it is just another corner coffee shop with a few tables inside. Met a friend there for lunch one day and discovered the garden at the back, and really nice food at a reasonable price....Needless to say I've been back a few times since then and will be back in the future.More
I am so disappointed that we haven't visited this charming bistro before. What a gem. We sat in the pretty courtyard garden amongst the pretty flowers and statues. Plenty of shade if a hot day. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We chose the breakfast,...well priced at R60, which includes toast and coffee. Thankfully, the breakfast was served on lovely warm plates, and our eggs were perfect. I opted for wholemeal and my husband chose white bread for toast. Unfortunately, both were hard and far too crispy, but the lovely waitress brought us another serving and this was so much better: the homemade wholemeal bread extremely tasty. We will definitely be back as the meals looked very tasty and the cakes yummy.More
We really enjoy visiting Travel Bugs, not only is the staff very friendly and give good service, their food is also very good, well prices and delicious. Still a favourite to visit
I've been coming here for many years and never disappoints. My favourite is a combination of their two salads - half chef's salad and half chicken strips salad - delicious. "The secret garden" at the back of the restaurant is beautiful and calming - with...gorgeous flowers and water features. If you want a very private conversation - not the place to go because the tables are quite close to each other. The staff have all been there for sometime and are always friendly.More
