The bar staff and even the bouncers were well trained and enjoyed a good party - as did all of us who were out for the night! We visited a few times whilst staying in Cape Town, and the one time we did order food - it was average, but to be fair, it was during load shedding. Knows how to make a good Jager Bomb train!

It was alright. When I went it was virtually empty during the week midday. The pizza was good. I ordered the Parma ham and rocket topping. I also ordered a pineapple mojito type cocktail.

Many restaurants close between 3-6pm so we were happy to find this place. We were the only patrons at 3:30pm so the service was great! We sat on an old balcony with lots of character, overlooking Long Street. The food was delicious and cheap. Lots of items to choose from. Highly recommend.

The bar service was decent but the rest wasn’t great. The DJ was terrible and kept on talking over the music. But the worst part was we were waiting for our Uber inside the building and the guy literally kicked us out on the street. Nevermind our security or the fact that we spent a ton of money there. Honestly disgusted by the way they treated us and disregarded our security

We had Chicken wings and Nachos as nibbles. The portions are great, the taste and presentation was excellent. Value for money, WOW!
Service was great and friendly, beer was cold. I was impressed.
Beware that it turns into a party spot at night, which we declined to pay the entrance for. (No issue with party spots, but it was real rowdy for a dinner.)

Possibly the worst pizza I have ever had. Zero flavor, toppings were bland and not fresh - it literally looked like dog food on the pizza. I have a feeling I’m going to get sick.... 🥴

Christ give me patience, and patience you would need to wait for service here. Wait to get a menu, wait to order, wait for the food, wait to pay. I saw one waiter, on a busy Saturday night. Oh, and the food wasn’t bad actually. And the waiter was friendly.

One of my favorite clubs in Cape Town! Especially on a Wednesday night it’s very nice when they start with beer pong. Later on it’s getting super packed. Josh managed the bar very well even though it was super busy. Dj always creates a good vibe! Thanks Bruce.

Really fun bar, the music is always good and the drinks are reasonably priced. Gets crowded on Thursdays and Fridays. The balcony overlooking Long Street is a nice vibe. Bartenders were excellent.

Food is superb, vibe is also great and if you stay there long enough at night, a DJ starts playing, so for people looking for a nice place to end up in a nice party definitely the place to be. Even for people wanting to have good dinner, you won't regret their food

Friendly staff, good food at great prices and views of the action on Long Street from the balcony. Not as big a selection of beers as the Beerhouse across the street but enough to keep most people happy

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this place but I will certainly try. I came here by myself, sad, alone, on a Monday night. Eventually friends joined me but before that happened, I ordered my burger (the Pearl Jam which was insanely good, like out of this world crazy awesome) gloomily, and proceeded to sit by myself until the incredibly kind staff started engaging me in conversation. By the end of my time in Cape Town (which consisted of only 5 day), I had come here 3 times, received multiple fist bumps from the bartenders, smiles from the kitchen staff, and hugs from the bouncer. I couldn't love this place anymore than I already do and absolutely plan on coming back to Cape Town for a large part because I want to return to Sergeant Pepper. Thank you for making my trip so amazing!

My friends and I were at Sgt Pepper over the weekend. The place isn't bad but the service was by far the worst. The waiters were quick to hand out the menus but the overall service was bad! It took us 45 minutes to get our order in. The beef burgers were not on par, I may as well have gone to Spur. The drinks are good but they are a bit stingy on the alcohol content in their cocktails and "teapots" - I swear it tasted like juice only. The presentation of the food and drinks are good for pictures but the taste is questionable.

If you need afternoon shade, Sergeant Pepper's may have a little more shade than across the street. Not as many beers to choose from, but the people are nice and the people watching is great!
