Delicious tacos... Simple & flavourful! Lively city spot, and great for a quick bite. Service was warm and efficient. I'd have liked some simple additional side options, making single tacos more into meals... perhaps even combo options. Oh and comfier seats would be a warm...welcome. Our butts were eina!More

I just had a massage at the hotel nextdoor, and felt this place looks cute outside so have been going there. Its an Mexican place, runned by non Mexians I felt so, but they do have 5 vegan dishes which are pretty cool actually, you...get some taco’s (really small) so you have to spend around 15 EUR for one person I guess so to have an normal meal, but the place is something I might try again.More

We have been before & enjoyed it, & so on this trip to Cape Town we decided to revisit, & were not disappointed. I went with my wife & (adult) daughter & started with drinks. They have several beers on tap. There is a good...selection of reasonably priced excellent cocktails. The corkage fee of R50.00 is cheap by local standards. We started with “snacks,” & the 3 of us shared 3 meals — the ceviche, esquires, (Parmesan, chilli, lime, corn,) & chicharrons (crispy pork crackling.) These were so good that we had a second round of the same 3 items! We then shared a prawn taco which was also excellent. The atmosphere is casual & relaxed, & we felt at ease. Although it is a casual diner, they did have available upmarket tequila & Mezcal with which we ended our meal. The price of the whole meal with drinks was extremely reasonable. All 3 of us agreed we would be back before the end of our Cape Town trip.More

We went for a light dinner, and this was just perfect. We have been to Mexico several times before. These were the best taco’s we have eaten outside Mexico. Well done.

Cute little taco place with really tasty taco’s. Plenty of options. Really enjoy the crispy duck taco however the stand out was butternut pumpkin with caramelised onion and goats cheese. Flavour bomb. All are small sizes that are well priced so go with a group...and taste loads! Service was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Also enjoyed the naked Mexican beer. Standout for a casual lunchMore

Tacos and quesadillas ready to go. It was our option for lunch close to the table mountain area. The fish taco wasn’t fresh, but all the other ones were good.

Really like this cute stylish place and their food is so good! Very good place for a quick bite with nice staff around. My favs so far the tacos and guacomole, the tacos with beef, fish and chicken (spicy!). And the ceviche was good too!

We came here with the experience that this’s the Latin restaurant but it turned out to be the snack (full) bar like tacos and quesadillas. They have the long list of cocktails and alcohol, so if it was your type, you must be like it...lots because the bar offered a good view of Kloof Nek street. Fun for some chill time. There taco dish are good, but have to mention the corn tortilla chips themselves were harsh, like undercook. Again, this’s the (snack) bar, not restaurant where you can order the plate. The waitress we had was friendly though.More

Currently sitting at el burro. Waiting 1 hour for tacos which the waitress supposedly ordered although saw her numerous times ask the other waitresses if they gave our food to the wrong table!! Then see one waitress bring the exact amount of tacos and give...them to the table next to us who ordered way after us. All while the other person at our table received his food as within minutes of if being ordered! No apology in sight! Beyond disappointed in this restaurant. Definitely come here if you want your blood to boil!More
