While visiting from the states, my husband and I popped in one afternoon to find the most beautiful hand crafted chocolates and coffee. The place is clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We tried a few different things and loved them all! The creativity and presentation is unsurpassed. A “must-stop” on your visit to Seapoint! Now we just have to get her to open one closer to our home! Well done!

We called into My Sugar whilst out for a walk in Cape Town. Flat Whites were excellent as were the smarties bar and marshmallow dome chocolates. Enjoyed having a chat with the friendly owner about his time spent in the UK and can only wish him and his staff the best of luck in his second shop due to open very soon.

Lovely little doughnut shop with some amazing coffee.
Must try their warm banoffee doughnuts.
My wife and I go often to ger us some doughnuts, now and again we stop for some coffee.

This great spots for chocolate lovers is found on the main road in Sea point Cape Town.
On my hot chocolate Road quest I decided to try out the super thick chocolate.
It was superb.
It was only beaten by Mrs. Shippels hot chocolate at the Kirsten Bosch tea room.
This didn’t stop me from having two cups.

Friendly staff, a variety of ice creams, shakes and donuts etc to choose from. Great area it is based and its a walk away from the beach and sea point promenade. Because i am a sweet tooth, whenever i step into My Sugar, i get a sugar rush before those delicatessen touches my lips and tongue, as the smell of that place itself gives you the sweetness as well. Top Place and Top variety and very reasonable prices. My one stop always when i'm close by, i just have to pop in to buy myself and family something.

What a happy little cafe in the heart if Seapoint amazing ingredients that make the best little chocolates and a house blend coffee that is top-notch. Great staff and interesting conversation.

Belgian chocolate that is tempered. Nearly Mother’s Day so they have a ruby chocolate- never to be repeated loved the orange fondant in dark chocolate

All of our product is labeled and priced individually, so you can spend as little or as much as you’d like depending on what YOU choose. If you choose a lot of items or the pricier ones then yes it will become expensive.
If there is something you are not happy about while you are in store, both owners are always on duty to chat to about your concerns.

I had very high expectations for the good looking donuts but it was disappointing. The dough was more the consistency of a Chelsea bun. The coffee was good though. We did not try any of the chocolates- it looked very interesting. If you really want a great donut and coffee you can have a marvelous donuts and good coffee for half the price at Dunkin Donut.

Our doughnuts are hand rolled traditional yeast based dough (yes, similar to a Chelsea bun) as opposed to a cake doughnut (like dunkin) which is made by machine.
The two are totally different products which is why I understand your confusion as to why ours aren’t like theirs.
Next time, take the time to chat to us about our product, and we will be happy to explain to you the difference and what goes in to what we do. Not everything is for everyone, and that’s ok.

We stopped off here for a coffee and something sweet and was totally blown away!
Quite a small but intimate café in the middle of town with exceptional designs and flavour combinations.
Donuts and hot chocolate are to die for!

WOW what a gem of a place. So small and quaint yet big with choices, yummy flavours, and great service and attitude. Milkshakes, Donuts, Cake in a Jar, choccies, totally sweet and sugar boost.
