Used to be one of my favorite places to go but since it was taken over about 18 months ago have noticed standards have dropped and this can be seen in the number of patrons eating when I last went. Food still good though.

I dont even know where to start, my friend a Cape Town resident highly recommended this spot and wow what an awesome place it turned out to be. The sushi we had was just soo fresh, but so delightful and incredibly delicious, we ordered more...and the pricing is very reasonable. I was floored at how the sashimi melts in your mouth. Will definitely be back here for more and more lol.👌🏾💯 The Dragon snowball with Crab salad is a must tryMore

The daily specials on the dim sum, sushi and cocktails make it an affordable and tasty experience. Would recommend it for a lunch spot but evening outings would make it rather pricey. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Sushi was good. Had a succulent steak. The restaurant is posh with great atmosphere. Cocktails were good.

The atmosphere is whatever but the sushi and wine options are fantastic especially when they are half off at lunch time.

We arrived at this pretentious restaurant just before 8 pm on a Thursday evening. After walking down the inappropriate red carpet and being seated inside, load-shedding hit and the lights went out. Most restarants spend money on a back-up generator during these regular blackouts, but...here they save money and have a collection of torches to help their staff get around. So instead of the lights coming back on as would be the case in many 'ordinary' restaurants, we sat in the gloom of the blackness, wondering why we spent so much money on such an expensive restaurant which does not consider their customers' wellbeing. The busiest person was the barman who was kept very occupied dispensing wine via the many bustlng waitrons. Unfortunately we had a waiter who came accross as a pompous, unfriendly person who said he would bring bread after taking our order and then disappearing. After more than 30 minutes we tackled a passing "manageress" who brought us some bread. When the meal eventually arrived it was disappointing. My wife's fillet steak was good but the grilled/steamed vegetables - for which they charge R45 extra - comprised a few slices of peppers and onion on the small long plate. Even when we were finished our meal and the plates were cleared by someone else, we had to ask someone to ask our waiter for our bill. Sitting in the semidarkenss near the kitchen entrance we had pleanty of time to form impressions about the restaurant. There are too many manageresses who do nothing but wonder around, occassionally talking to one of the many waiters and waitresses rushing back and forth. They don't seem to control the flow of orders or talk to the patrons, so we wondered what their purpose was. The food took a really long time to reach our table, which cannot be ascribed to the loadshedding since the kitchen was all lit up. If one had all the time in the world and wanted to sit in their courtyard drinking wine, this restaurant is suitable. But if one wants good food and service, almost anywhere else would be better.More

having visited a number of times in the past, our most recent visit left a lot to be desired. we arrived at around 3pm to be met with a few patrons seated outside and upon entering the restaurant to be found that we were the...only guests eating inside business must be slow or non existent ordered the dim sum which was actually not bad the sushi on the other hand was average at best as both noted by my wife and myself. slowly but surely i think that this could be our last visit here unless things change drastically. even with the value prices it still doesn't save this place.More

Several years ago we had great sushi here & enjoyed the ambience, the desserts, etc. Not so 2 days ago. Lunch time had ended, with just a few tables filled. We opted for the 'special' sushi menu. Being a vegetarian, we shared the chive &...vegetable dumplings. Clearly the pastry was yesterday's...warmed up. I've had freshly-made ones at too many other places too many times, so the difference was glaringly obvious. Ditto when our two sushi types each arrived: both my vege varieties had a chewy (a sure sign of age) quality, while the seaweed and rice were obviously not that day's prep. The cocktails were decent and the cappuccino ok, but that was it. Nearby Waterfront/Sea Point restaurants offering similar do get it right...consistently. I mentioned our experience to the waiter. He apologised and said he'd mention it to the kitchen. It wasn't even worth it at the supposed 20-50% off! When a restaurant offers 'specials', the basic expectation is your food will be as decent as the regular menu! In trying economic times when less folk are eating out in CT, this practise is restaurant suicide. And all this risk because you're determined to make profit on old food. I will broadcast this warning far and wide.More

We were there before the Match in Africa. The place was totally packed and to our surprise we got excellent service and fabulous food. The Ostriche was as good as always so where the sushi. The Malwa pudding is a must!

We ate here during load shedding but as we came for sushi this was not a problem. The sushi was of exceptional value and quality, we also had a bonus band play on this Friday afternoon when the power returned that added to our experience....Thank you to the team and band!More

Not sure what the question is. My experience was excellent, and none of the three of us had any problems with our food.
