Let's start with the positives: Atmosphere and decor and service was very good. The wine list is small but well priced. But I assume that we were expecting too much. The starters were ok'ish, I thought that some of the items, the stuffed red pepper in particular, was served way too cold, too cold for any of the flavours to... More

This was our favorite meal in Cape Town, and we had a lot of great meals. The restaurant is very well decorated in Turkish style, and the menu items are presented in such a novel way. Everything we ate was delicious, and I wish we could have eaten everything we saw! The Maitre D' was very charming, too. They are... More

Beautiful place, nice atmosfare, amazing potential. We have been disappointed with the main meal, they didn't have the shank lamb and we could only choose the kebabs, chicken or lamb, Chose the chicken kebab, big mistake. Came totally dry, almost uneatable, Any one with one day barbi experience will know that this chicken is dead. Told the manager,he said "this is how... More

Dear JAYPER318, I sincerely apologize for not living up to your big expectations. You came to my restaurant on Wednesday night at 21:00 as a walk-in customer. I welcomed you and while my staff was setting a table for you, I have explained that, due to a full house, most lamb dishes including shanks were sold out (15 shanks were... More

Great food and lots of authentic atmosphere. The De Waterkant area is a fantastic seemingly "undiscovered" area of Cape Town and so much nicer than the touristic V&A Waterfront. We got recommended this restaurant by one of the nearby shops, and we were not disappointed. Both my wife and I have been to Turkey a few times, so we love... More

Beautiful restaurant, food tastes good but not sure about the quality. The mezzes (starters) were delicious. Home baked bread with different dips and meat dishes (köfte etc) were good and it might actually best to skip mains and just eat the starters tapas-style. We ordere different lamb meals for mains and one was quite tough with a lot of fat... More

The starter mezze plates are superb. Brought to your table with each plate nicely explained, the hardest thing is not to order all the 20 odd plates on offer. We over ordered a bit so we struggled to finish our mains. Truthfully the flavours are awesome. The freshly baked garlic bread is divine. Their cocktail menu is great with a... More

We returned to Anatoli, with friends, after many years. It didn't disappoint with its authentic interior and beautiful plates and decor on the wall but the meal was a real let down, unfortunately. We felt the mezze brought on a big wooden tray were all much the same with little variety as we remembered - a pity as this has... More

This was one of our favorite restaurants during our two week stay in Cape Town. It's a 30+ year institution set in a beautiful space. The only menu is the drink menu, but the food is brought out to you to choose. The cold appetizers are brought out in a tray and the hot ones are chosen, then taken back... More

My wife and I and another couple had earlier discussed a return to Anatoli, a restaurant we had last visited at least a decade ago. Anatoli has been on the scene for well over 30 years and has, quite obviously, stood the test of time. It was with great expectations that we met last Saturday. I had forgotten quite how... More

Experience the best cuisine that Turkey has to offer at Anatoli. Be greeted warmly by attentive staff and seated in an intriguing Victorian warehouse, built in 1904.

Anatoli has been serving the best Turkish food in Cape Town since 1984 and this wealth of experience and success is well reflected in the offerings on the extensive and well-planned menu. Freshly baked flat breads accompany traditional meze, presented in equally traditional oversized trays. The knowledgeable waiters will enthusiastically take diners through all of the meze available. There is something to suit every palate at Anatoli due to the variety that characterises Turkish cuisine.

Experience a memorable culinary journey through Turkey care of Anatoli at Green Point.
