Lovely lunch at Beltazar and good advise from Deborah

We had lunch at Belthazar at the waterfront. We choose the fillet beef medium rare which was excellent served on hot plates, Very tender and warm from the inside. Deborah advised us a fine shiraz which combined excellent with the fillet.

Best steak ever.

Probably the best steak I have ever tasted. Went for a long lunch. Seafood platter (starter for two) was delicious as was the steak. Fries (chips) were cooked to perfection and our waiter, sorry but we’ve forgotten your name aarrgghh, was fantastic. This place is...efficiently run and an experience not to miss. Excellent as always .

Been coming here for a number of years and it never disappoints . From finding a table in the shade for us Wendy was really helpful she took our orders and was friendly throughout our time there . We will return to Belthazar before we...return to the UK on Thursday and hope that Wendy is on shift to serve us . Thank youMore

Wendy and Belthazar

Amazing steak, the filet 350g was superb!! But most of all, Wendy our server was amazing, super helpful and made the experience what it was - excellent!!

Nice situated and friendly staff

I had a lunch with a nice welcome and the waiter, Tembani, were helpful in choosing a very good wine for the food. I had the flambeed fillet with a bearnaise sauce. Served medium rare as I asked for. If I will have the possibility...to go back I will definitely do it.More

Fine restaurant - booking required

We booked and were confirmed an inside table. On arrival, our table wasn’t ready and when it was, wasn’t inside. I asked for this to be addressed as we’d had a chilly meal the night before elsewhere, and Belthazar obliged with a lovely table inside...within 10 minutes. The steak choices are terrific, and Belthazar has a long varied wine menu. The sommelier is passionate and friendly. Food was excellent with steaks cooked to perfection, and although tripadvisor asks if it was mid-range or fine dining, I’d say it’s somewhere between the two.More

Super good!

Amazing meat, we had the ribs and a steak, everything was sooo good. They find us a table, altough the place was super busy. Wendy takes care of us, she’s lovely!

Dinner at Belthazar.

We had a fantastic meal before watching the England vs South Africa rugby match . The steaks were delicious and the choice of wines by the glass was exceptional . We were served by the marvellous Fabrice who was both very helpful and also very...friendly . The sommelier also provided excellent advice.More

Amazing!!

Dear neeratraveler. Glad to know that your steak was excellant. We hand select all beef and mature it fior a minimum of 28 days. Our line fosh is also very fresh straight out the water. Travel safe.

Outstanding in every way

We took a chance and didn’t book a table but the staff were very accommodating, we sat at the bar until a table became free, the bar staff were very friendly and had a lovely g&t, although they were busy they didn’t mind stepping from...behind the bar to take a photo. Once seated service was excellent, our waitress Irene was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and wine equally so, very reasonably priced and would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially as there so many to choose from. Thumbs up from usMore

Restaurant organisation let the food down!

Waiting staff were delightful and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks menu. The service seems very chaotic, not from the waiting staff but from the general running. Our starters came out about 5 minutes apart. The side for our main came out when we’d...basically finished. Great food, well cooked but let down by the service.More
