A wonderful restaurant frequented by locals (and visitors) which is always a good sign. The menu changes every day and features such things as gemsbok and warthog. Service was excellent. A hidden gem.

The red brick walls of the Savoy Cabbage gives a real atmosphere to the restaurant. The food is very fresh as the menu is updated every evening with what is available. Some items on the menus are limited in number as they prefer to have...More

Our group tried the impala, springbok and warthog so we were able to sample all these great dishes. Wonderful service and a unique setting make this restaurant a must if you're visiting Cape Town.

A group of five of us went and we all had excellent meals. Good variety of starters and unique entrees including impala and wart hog (which were both fantastic). The desserts are outstanding!

Dear Maruschka I am sorry you found Savoy Cabbage lacking in atmosphere. Trip Advisor reviewers often rate it as romantic and many a special celebration takes place here because of the atmosphere. Our lease restricts us playing music and many guests come to us because...More

Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
