An excellent meal was marred when we found a metal staple in one of the parties meals. We pointed this out to our waiter who apologised to the person concerned but there was NO reaction from any of the management who seemed to ignore the...More

This was indeed a most unfortunate incident. I came in early this morning to write to you, but by then your review had appeared. When the General Manager was told about the incident he needed to assess what the foreign body was. In fact it...More

while they are generally not open for lunch, the restaurant accommodates guests for lunch if they book. In this case we were the only ones. The menu is the same as for dinner and as a result the prices are a bit steep for just...More

Thank you for your lovely review. We are open for lunch every day Monday to Friday. No need to book! As you will have noticed there is a construction site opposite us and early in the year the noise was terrible. This is now much...More

The food was good and the interior is nice too. I love the exposed brick walls. The service was also nice. If you like a nice dinner at a nice place it's definitely the place to go to, but when that's said I didn't feel...More

This restaurant is truly fabulous, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food was wonderful and thoughtful. My husband and I shared the best beef tartare we have eaten, followed by 3 little pigs and a duck and both truly delicious. We drank a bottle of...More

Thank you so much for you lovely review and your enjoyment of the service. I do just want to comment on the wine list in case your observations influence others negatively. We do have a boutique wine list with some considerably older vintages, Cape Winemakers...More

What a wonderful restaurant - in every respect. My server, Imani, has been praised in a previous review and deservedly so. She is knowledgeable, elegant and affable. The food was out of this world. Every course was perfect - large portions, the freshest ingredients and...More

I've been to Savoy Cabbage a number of times and it never disappoints. We had a lovely evening with equally lovely food. The lamb rack was delicious and the desserts were absolutely divine. It was all we could to not to lick the plates. Our...More

Description
Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
