We have visited Savoy Cabbage on many occasions when we have visited this wonderful city but tonight something was missing, granted it was a quiet Friday night but the kitchen staff were out the door at 9.30pm and you were left with the feeling everyone...More

Stylish, red-brick, lofty ambiance. Very friendly staff, attentive but unobtrusive. Excellent food, the beef tartare as a starter was just delicious, the grilled aubergine with couscous as a main is something you definitely want to come back for. And don't miss the warm chocolat cake...More

What a pleasure to return after a long absence and find a favorite restaurant is just as good as I remembered. The distressed brick walls lend an urban Chic more common to Manhattan. Double baked cheese soufflé, springbok loin, a vegetable medley, steak tartare and...More

Admittedly it was a late booking - BUT - to be placed at a table, next to the door, not even beyond the reception area is simply unacceptable without prior notification. One gets the impression that these tables where squeezed in to provide extra gratuity...More

Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
