I recently enjoyed a delicious three course meal at Savoy Cabbage. The space itself is a conversation-starter -- a converted loft with exposed brick and cabbage-shaped lights hanging overhead! The ambiance is warm and cosy - you could spend the better half of an evening...More

If you like quality dining this is one not to be missed when you are in Cape Town. Wonderfully attentive staff. Helpful menu suggestions. An absolute delight. It will not break the bank either!

We visited this restaurant (party of four) after a fairly long interval and were not disappointed. It was their 19th birthday and we opted for the set birthday menu which was exceptional value considering the extent thereof, the presentation and really good food. The "Fizz"...More

Ambitious restaurant. Friendly, professional service. Modern styled interior with brick walls. Large dining room, when we had dinner there were few guests but when it is full I can imagine the place is rather noisy. Also, we were surprised that, with so few guests, the...More

Thank for your kind review. The game is sent from the Eastern Cape so sometimes we have a few days wait for the next supplies. We are shortly to receive some wonderful springbok form a big cull although most of the game is farmed. I...More

Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.
