My first time dining at a kurdish restaurant, went for a friend's birthday and was extremely impressed with the presentation of the food, service and friendly staff. Will definitely go again!! A little gem in the heart of the city centre!

Very good staff and service

Great restaurant in Greenmarket Square

I found this restaurant by accident as I was browsing the stalls in Greenmarket Square. I love Middle Eastern food so it was a no brainer. I enjoyed it so much that I ate three meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast. Entertainment (a local band) was thrown in for good measure. At lunch I had Felafel and Hummus plus Boreq - the Felafel was huge plate with loads of fersh salad. I probably didn't need both but enjoyed it nevertheless. For dinner I had a vegetable pide plus Baklava and for breakfast a Shakshuka, Everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty and Caleb and the other waiters were very friendly and happy. Thank you guys

Burnt Shisha, Raw food

Visited this restaurant in January. Food from the mixed grill was raw and undercooked (frozen middle in the chicken). The shisha taste was horrible, burnt and when asked to change flavour was still sub-standard. The waiter even tried to double charge me for the first shisha.

AMAZING!

The restaurant is in the main square in a very lovely place. The location is very cozy and the vibe is amazing. We sit in the terrace at the upper floor. They prepared an amazing vegan meal and the service was literally perfect! We ordered 4 beers, the falafel, the Kurdish pizza, the couscous and the Humus. All was really really delicious and very well presented. All this without tip was around 500 zar. Great price for the quality of the food and service! Try this restaurant… it’s amazing. I will for sure come back!

Delicious Dining!

Well… some of our party have been to Istanbul, and declared the food here to be even better! I’m sorry that I can’t name the dishes we had, but there was a mixed starter with an absolutely wonderful array of dips and breads. For the mains, there was a chicken and meat dish, a lamb tandoori (with such tender meat but SO MUCH BUTTER!) and an amazing rich stew. Desserts were baklava and a similar dish but with an almost pasta texture. Throw in some very powerful cocktails and you are set for the evening. A wonderful experience!

Birthday Party

A real gem in the heart of the city of Cape Town. I had my birthday party with 25 people upstairs and could not have ask for a better venue - what a great experience with a Turkish/Mediterranean flair. The food was delicious and the team took exceptional care and made sure we were looked after. I definitely will be back .

If you are a fan of Middle Estern food, the place is a must. We had the most delicious lamb kebab, chicken in yoghurt and meze platter. The atmosphere and decor is authentic and the service without a fault. They are no longer on Long Stree, but on Berg

Meat was overcooked and dry, bread soggy. Falafel was terrible. Not authentic Turkish food. Probably the worst meal we had in Cape Town.

Awesome authentic experience

Authentic Turkish Experience!!!
